Anyone drive a GMC Acadia?

What rearfacing carseat are you using?

We had planned on using our First Years True Fit from DD1 out of our other vehicle, but with our bucket seats it is causing DD2 to almost sit straight up and down.  I don't remember DD1 doing this in the seat.  The lines on the side and not parrallel with the ground like they are suppose to be.

  • I don't have one, but interested in whether you like it or not. We're kind of looking round for a bigger SUV. We currently have and Escape. Do you have a lot of space in the back? Is it roomy?

  • I have an Acadia and currently use the Britax Chaperone.  It had to go behind on the passenger side because it is so big. We needed the room on the driver side for DH to have his seat back as far as he needs it. I'm planning on getting the Britax Advocate next though.

We like it.  We have the Denali version, so all the bells and whistles.  My sister and I sit in the 3rd row all the time and so has my husband and BIL.  I mean, I wouldn't want to sit for more than an hour back there, but I fit.  The 2nd row seats move forward, but with DD2 being rear-facing we obviously can't move her seat.  We do move DD1's seat though and that gives more space.  The only downfall is that you have to walk around the seats and it's a little cramped.  Our Durango you had to flip the seats down and it seamed a little easier.  It's spacious.  We ususally have our 3rd row down, but even when they are up you still have quite a bit of space back there.

  • We have one and put a towel down underneath to make it right. We use a Graco convertible now.
