1. People... strangers... touch your children, especially on their faces?!?! I mean really. A woman at a restaurant came up to DD2 (1yr) and tickled under her chin. Then came back and did it again with her arm reached all around her face. I wanted to THROW UP! It happened too fast to stop her.
2. Stupid people post stupid stuff on The Bump?!?!
Re: Don't you hate and want to throw up when...
1. Yes, no touching please.
2. No, this is what keeps me entertained!
I've never had a stranger try to touch DD. Usually they smile or wave to her or talk to her now that she's talking.
And no, the drama keeps me entertained LOL
I thought this post was about puke and how gross it is when your kid pukes on you and then you want to puke, too.
Yes, I needed to say puke that many times ... and yes my kid hurled on me an hour ago ... yuck.
Yea.. puke sucks... luckily that has only happened once. Gotta love little ones!
To the above poster that's never had a rude person touch her child... omg you are luckily! I hope it never happens.
People say that if you wear your baby, strangers are less likely to touch them, but I had the worst episode ever of this when I had DD in the Ergo one time. The saleslady at JC Penney would NOT get off her. She even kissed her!
Unable to even.

You don't understand the appeal of Benedict Cumberbatch / think he's fug / don't know who he is? WATCH SHERLOCK. Until you do, your negative opinion of him will not be taken seriously.
CG, I get all happy and excited inside when I see your siggy. There will never be another doctor like him. Please don't ever change it... ever. That is all.
Ha! I'll have this one for at least 3 years. That's how long Mr. Darcy was in my siggy.
Yes, the 10th Doctor is the best doctor ever.

I guess I'm in the minority. I don't really hate it when people touch my kid. I mean, I don't love it or encourage it, but it doesn't really bother me THAT much.
And I love it when stupid people post.
I was sitting down talking to Sophia saying how I missed her. The brother's girlfriend leaned down and stuck her finger in my childs nose.. I almost flipped out on her. But I kept my cool and got the *** out of there. I was so pissed off.
Yep this exactly! I was starting to think I one of my mommy genes was broken or something 'cause it doesn't even phase me.
I think only one or two people have ever touched DS. One was a young pregnant lady (not her first kid) who touched his hair when he was so fluffy and I think one guy wanted a high five from him.
Does this mean my child is unapproachable? Should I call the Pedi? LMK.
I agree. It doesn't bother me at all.
Same. It doesn't bother me unless they are sick. But it's not like it happens often.
All of this
A kiss he will never forget- Disney World 2014
Does not phase me either. DS seems to have inherited my strong immune system and does not get sick often ::knock on wood:: A co-worker's son is ALWAYS sick, he gets pneumonia every time he gets a cold. I can see how she would be overprotective of others touching her son.
1) I love babies. If I could snuggle other peoples kids maybe I wouldn't have had so many of my own...
If touching my baby's head makes someones day then I don't really mind, especially since DS loves the attention as well. I do however draw the line at touching his mouth. I've had MIL and even strangers try to let my kid(s) knaw or suck on their fingers.
2) I love the dramaz.
1. No, as long as they're not sticking their fingers in my kids' mouths, then I'm okay.
2. No, stupid posts make me laugh. I like to laugh.
DD (5 years old) from IUI in 2012
TTC 3rd and final!: IUI #1 in progress!
No.
No.
All of this. LO was born in November during the height of flu season and my paranoia of germs and LO getting sick basically kept him in the house until I had to go back to work in February. Then daycare happened.
I really don't mind people even strangers touching LO but I don't think it happens too frequently. He is very social though and will wander up to people and turn on his 100 watt smile.
As for people posting stupid things on the Bump, I usually find it amusing. If I find a post annoying I just ignore it.
