Please recommend your camcorder

This is not exactly preschool related but...

We need a new camcorder. Which one do you have?  Can you tell me the pros/cons?  What should I look for?

 I'm going to use it for home videos.  No plans to do anything professional just capture memories.

    We have a JVC one, have had it for three years and we LOVE it. It's portable, great quality, relatively inexpensive. Definitely recommend.
