I have no idea if I will have another, but I wouldn't do a ton differently. There are a few things:
-I would buy fewer clothes, but more pajamas.
- I would probably feel much more comfortable putting a second baby in his or her crib earlier (DD was in RNP next to me until almost 7 months)
That's all I can think of right now. But I kind of surprised myself by not been a super nervous parent. I mean, I worry about a lot of stuff, but not the day-to-day things.
If you are planning to have another baby or even if your not would you do different the second time around?
Can't think of too much except have fewer real clothes and more jammies and play clothes. But, I thought I was going to do that this time around too and it turns out I have a baby clothes shopping problem.
I will also handle any possible breast feeding issues that I may have completely differently than I did this time.
That's it. We're kind of go with the flow parents so I didn't have too many plans and expectations going into this baby and it seemed to work. I'll do that again. Every baby is different and I'm just going to play it by ear based on his/her personality.
I will cutabitch if anyone takes away my epidural before they are positive all parts of the placenta are out. (<---manual extraction and emergency surgery)
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
I will try to eat healthy as to not gain soooo much weight during pregnancy. I was on bedrest and ate like a little piggy. I gained 47lbs, thankfully to EBF I'm bad in my pre-preggo jeans. But, my body is NOT the same without clothes
I will not let anyone stress me out, that said I will not be wanting my mother to come and stay with me,when prego.
Will start tummy-time from birth and more playing on floor.
I will not get new baby accustom to napping in my arms!! They will use their crib!
Not sure if I will fully cosleep or might just bring in to nightly feed. DD is still in bed with us.
I think that about covers it...

Buy some newborn or small size fitted diapers so we don't go through so many covers when that runny poop squirts out of the prefold.
I was gonna say I won't allow overnight visitors so early. My mom, sis, and 2 nieces (age 7 and 9, brats) came to see us when DD was 5 days old and stayed for 3 days. It was NOT GOOD, way too soon. I was too emotional and too tired for any amount of needing to entertain people. However, with a second baby it may be nice to have somebody around to play with DD. We'll see.
Start putting the baby down "drowsy but awake" from the start or at least very early, both for naps and nighttime.
If I have a repeat C/S, I'll seek help sooner if I think I have a post-op infection.
Jess & Adam, married 2009, precious Audrey born in 2011. BFP 1/6/13, 6-wk MMC discovered at 9 wks 2/11/13. D&C 2/18/13, second D&C 4/23/13 for retained placenta. BFP 8/24/13!! EDD 5/1/14, delivered healthy and sweet Zoey Leanne on 5/5/14 by repeat c-section.
--Quality newborn fitteds with covers for the first 6-10 weeks
-- Buy a high quality pump and EBF longer
--Not leave the hospital without LO if at all possible (DD stayed for 3 more days on the bili-lights and I should have stayed at the hospital with her)
--PUSH THE EPIDURAL BUTTON FOR MORE MEDS, I pushed for 3 hours, the last 2 of which my epi had worn off.

1. Eat less junk while pregnant
2. Move the baby to the crib sooner
3. Encourage a paci and bottle sooner
4. Start sleep training sooner
And I'm sure there is lots more...
I want to find out the gender ahead of time.
I will ask more questions before getting induced.
I will save more money so I can take more FLMA (I thought 9 weeks was good, I want longer next time!).
I won't share the names!
I will take more pics. (Ironic, since I'm a photographer.)

We didn't find out with my first but did with my 2nd
Pump more; I had an oversupply for so long and had no idea.
Eat less bad food while pregnant for sure.
And lastly, let other people help when they offer.
Me too!
I would go team green.
A few repetitive things but these are the most important to me.
I would definately pump more and get a really good stash.
I would not take my BC pill....even the low dose they gave me dried me up....gonna have to find a different option
Let people help when they offer it.
Buy more pajamas and less clothes
Possibly use cloth diapers...must research first
I think that about covers it...

Wow, so many good ones I agree with.
