Easy baby?

Would you rather have your easy baby first or second?

I like that my "easy" baby was 2nd. I can take Nick with my for Timmys things like play date etc. If they were reversed I wouldnt have even dreamed of taking Timmy anywhere as a newborn,

Re: Easy baby?

  • I think I would rather have my easy baby be #2, only because I had undivided attention for #1.  Cam's not easy, but I don't think he's a difficult baby either.

  • Because you didn't want #2 to be the toughie?

Yep. Tim was and is a challenging kid. As a baby he screamed from the time he was awake until he went to bed and he was awake A LOT!

  • Hard to say. This baby is pretty darn easy, and it honestly terrifies me for the next one. As in, she's so easy that I'm tempted to not have anymore and mess up a good thing.

However, if she were not so easy, I'd still be tempted to not have more because I wouldn't want any more "hard" babies!

I guess having the easy baby second makes the most sense. I mean, if your first baby is more difficult, then almost any baby would seem easy in comparison anyway.

I'm just going to have to hope for a second easy baby!

  • People think my LO is such a good baby but she sleeps like crap.  I am pretty sure my next one will be a terror and STTN.

I guess I would prefer the hard one first.

  • easy baby 2nd because the first one you dont really have anything to compare to, if that makes sense.

  • Definitely easy second. I would rather be prepared for another baby like my high-maintenance sweetie then be totally caught off-guard. I think that some people with "easy" babies are in for a surprise with #2. That being said, I am guessing that there is no rule that you get one "easy" and one "difficult" baby.
