LO's Hair

How many of your have LOs with hair (more than just fuzz)? For those with babies with gorgeous amounts of hair (clineak, swimz) is it difficult to take care of? I just cant imagine combing through a squirmy babies hair!

Oh also, for those that have hair LOs with hair, were they born with it or did it come in after birth?

  • DS did have hair when he was born, but it's only in the last 2 months that he's started to get quite a bit of it. It's not difficult to take care of, but he only gets 2 baths a week. ;)

  • My DS was born with a full head of hair. Then at about 3 weeks went through a benjamin button phase as it fell out and he looked like an old man. Now it is coming back evenly it is still thin and fuzz like though. :-)

  • DS was born with a full head of hair too. It's grown a lot but is still really really fine and just sticks out straight lol. We're actually thinking of going and getting his bangs trimmed because they're in his eyes.

Everytime I see your sig I think that's what my DS will look like soon. Ds seems to have very similar hair :-)

Your sig is SO cute! I meant to tell you that when I noticed it earlier. :-)

  • I'm tempted to buy one of those fake headbands with the pigtails like Five_ Letters and KC had for their LO's. Only way DD is going to have any hair for awhile.

  • Not too difficult to take care of...just needs more frequent washing or it ends up looking greasy. And, sometimes she gets snarls. I had to buy detangler when she was like 3 months old. She wore her first ponytail yesterday. I'll try to post a picture later. So cute!!

  • I have to say, Lena's can be a bit difficult to take care of. It gets greasy looking pretty quickly, which of course is easily remedied by a wash, but it gets snarly quickly as well, and she always somehow ends up with food in it.

Also, it is in kind of an awkward phase where it is doing whatever it wants, and she can look a little crazy, so I have been clipping it back a lot. It goes through phases- sometimes it is not too hard to take care of, sometimes it is not so bad.

  • DD was born with a lot of hair and still has a full head of it. It's not too difficult to take care of. It gets in her eyes now though and she has started pulling out all of her hairbows and eating them, so I have to just let it get in her eyes unless she's fully supervised.

I've done the "Pebbles" ponytail too and it's pretty cute. She doesn't like me messing with it though and pushes my hands away. And it does get greasy fairly quickly.

  • I should updat be siggy but Z has had a thick head of hair the whole time, I was told by everyone it would fall out but it never did

I do the "pebbles pony" as well.  Pretty much everday otherwise it does the bangs fall in her face for a nice emo look.  Also its cute and its very hard to feed her without getting food in her hair if I dont.

this was yesterday as she turned 8 months on the minute

Hmm...food in the hair would not be fun. DS has gotten stuff in his hair too but a wet napkin gets it out in seconds...

This for E as well, except that her fuzz is strawberry blonde so she often appears bald in pictures from a distance.

  • DS was born with a full head of hair, and he's sporting a baby mullet right now that I simply tuck into his neck roll. Stick out tongue My sister and parents will sometimes clip his hair back with a bobby pin, but DH is not fond of that look. I'm just not ready to cut it - it's too glorious!

  • Full head of hair at birth, none fell out, just keeps growing and coming in thicker. She came home from daycare at 4mo with her first pigtails. It's easier to do the whale spout on top of her head. I sit her in the bumbo on the bathroom counter to style her hair each day. She has been pretty patient. If I don't have time to do it, they will likely do her hair at daycare. It's pretty fun!
