Eco-Friendly Family

Etsy question

Ok, so my DH is buying one of my Christmas presents off of Etsy so he got me to set him up and account and all that (he is NOT computer friendly).  Anyways.  I was trying to walk him through the steps and we got all the way to where you pay.  All he has to do is pay with paypal.  But now his cart is empty and it says he has one item to leave feedback for!  I can go to his purchases and it still says he needs to pay and I sent the seller a convo 'from him' explaining why its not paid for yet, but will be soon, and apologizing for any mixup.  Will that be ok, or is that a big no-no?

I know, I know.  I told him we could just do it through my account but he said he wanted to do this, he just needs help. :)

Re: Etsy question

  • I think when I've ordered the order is sent but I'd have to go to paypal and send the money to the person's address myself.  ??? I haven't ordered in a bit.

  • how do you like biloxi?   I was born and raised there... college in h'burg... we've moved around a bit since (dh's grad school, post doc, and now tenure track job)... we almost moved back , he had an interview scheduled, but this college was his top pick as far as jobs go.

Its ok.  There's not a lot to do here for families with young kids and our favorite places to shop are all the way in Mobile :(  But its ok, its really pretty here!  We've been to seet he Friendship Oak twice now, I love that tree!  And Ocean Springs is such a pretty town.  We'll be moving again in May though to....?  I have no idea yet.  How long have you been gone?

  • August, 2001.... My family is still there... so I visit. But it's so different now.  We didn't get the casinos until I was in junior high... before then, it was a long stretch of beach.  My mom said d'Iberville is building up... probably b/c the flood ins is so high to stay south of the bay.  But the beach was beautiful at one time.. big pretty old homes.  The place I had my bridal portraits take is gone now, which makes me sad. The church is fine (Nativity) and I the reception site (Gulf Hills) is still there....  We lucked out. We got married the Nov before Katrina.
  • I still think the beach is  beautiful here and they have some of the big old houses up again.  I think that's probably my favorite thing about this area is how everything here looks so stoic... even the old gnarly trees! (I love trees).  Tons of great backdrops here for photography :)
  • I haven't been back since dd's 1st birthday (jan 07).... we had another baby and family came up to us a lot over that time... then another move.  I'm itching to get home and see what's built back up!  We should be getting home next summer!!!
  • Awesome!  By that time they will have the Target and the Red Lobster up and running in D'Iberville!  LOL!  Too bad we'll miss it :(
  • I can;t wait for both whoo hoo...bring on the cheddar biscuits!
