Can I share my hellish week - pity party inside

Monday DH was a god and let me sleep and he took the baby. Tuesday all hell broke loose! Brayden threw up at dinner - literally all over his and my plate. Yum! He was up all all night and DH stayed with him and I was on baby duty - got about 3 hrs of sleep scattered throughout the night. Then Wednesday Jack woke up with a fever and was coughing all day long. So I was dealing with two very sick and whiny toddlersand a baby all day by myself.

Then weds night DH gets sick all night long which means another all night baby Duty and getting up non stop to tend to Jack who is still sick. I got about 2 hrs of sleep scattered through out the night again.

Last night, jack wakes up with a fever and he throws up so we figure he's getting sick now too. Luckily he only threw up once but he was still up til 2 am with his fever. So I took baby duty again since I was up with jack and since Lucas peed mid diaper change on the love seat, I got to 'sleep' on the love seat while Jack lounged on the sofa!

So now DH is off to work on a full nights sleep (which he needed but of which I'm so jealous) and for the 3rd day/ night in a row I've got all three kids all by myself with almost no sleep!!!

Ok - pity party over just had to get it out. Hopefully I can get a shower today - something I didn't get yesterday!

That really stinks!! Hopefully you can recover this weekend and everyone will get well. I was feeling sorry for myself since C was up from 1-430am and then again at 6am which turned into to time to get M to school.

And I spent a few hours in the evening last night at the ER with DH who burned his hand pretty bad. He'll be off work all weekend because of that and we'll have to take him to see his PCP today.

So my pity party doesn't seem so bad. I've been very thankful since C's been born that M is in a full day pre-school program.

Ugh - that's no fun either! I hope your DH feels better. The boys go to daycare 2xs a week but since im no longer getting paid I don't know how much longer we'll be able to do that.

Here's to hoping today goes smoothly for both of us!

You need a break big time. Do you have family nearby who can come over and help you out? Even to allow you to have a nap? That week sounds brutal..

Oh man, that sounds exhausting. Hope all the kids are feeling better soon and you get some much-needed sleep.

How exhausting! I hope everyone feels better soon, and that you don't get sick. Hopefully your DH can take over night duty tonight, and let you get some much needed sleep.
