Hello everyone. I am here to reintroduce myself. I graduated to PGAL earlier this month, but yesterday at my early u/s (5w4d), we discovered what looked like an empty uterus and a suspicious 2cm mass near my right ovary indicating probable ectopic. This morning I had a d&c and was scheduled for methotrexate shots, but they are holding off on the shots because my betas had already fallen significantly, and now they think that maybe I had an intrauterine pregnancy that stopped developing last week during my light spotting episode (betas were 922 at that point). If so, it was conceivable that a visible sac in the uterus would not be detected and that the mass is a corpus luteum cyst (I had one with my son's pregnancy).

We are in limbo. I go back tomorrow morning for another beta draw to to see if they have fallen dramatically after the d&c. They have also rushed the pathology report from the d&c to see if there was a pregnancy in the uterus. Based on those findings, they will decide whether to administer the shots.

There have been new people arriving here at TTCAL in the few short weeks I've been gone. Welcome, and I am truly sorry for your losses. This is such a supportive board. I hope your time here is short.

     BFP on Cycle 17 09/27/12. EDD 06/04/12! Please Stick Baby! A/S 01/22/13 Baby looking great. Officially TEAM BLUE! Jack is getting a Baby Brother! RCS scheduled for 05/29/13. William Daryll born at 9:59am on 05/29/13. Left ovary and tube removed due to peach sized tumor found during RCS. Pathology came back benign!

    I'm so sorry you have to rejoin us. I hope and pray that it was not an ectopic pregnancy.
    3 ectopic pregnancies (EDD's 1/30/12-tube removed, 6/2/12-methotrexate and 10/2/12-methotrexate)
    IVF and Natural FET resulted in BFN's and a hole in our wallets
    Natural BFP #4 on 9/7/12 gave us our miracle on 5/18/13

    Oh no!  Welcome (?) back and I'm so sorry for your loss!  I'm newish here and echo your statements about this board being incredibly supportive (and knowledgable).
