After suggestions from here from multiple people to try aquafor for DS's cheek rash I have been trying to find it. I have looked and haven't found it in stores here, so have found it online. Why the heck are they charging over $20 for some cream? Is it really that great? Others here have suggested just using vaseline, which I tried, but it is getting worse, not better, so I am desperate. I just don't understand how they can charge so much, but if it is so highly rec'd by so many people, I guess it must be worth it? Or maybe it's cheaper in the US? (I'm in Canada).
Re: Why is aquafor so expensive?
We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

Is it really basically the same? Because in that case the aquafor probably won't even work, because the Vaseline has not. We don't have Target in Canada unfortunately, but I have just used regular baby Vaseline.
I did buy something that I thought seemed similar too, and thought it was working at first, but now I don't know what to think. If I try something, it gets worse, if I leave it, it gets worse. My poor babies little cheeks just look to red and bumpy, although I know it doesn't bug him, I feel like I should try to find something to help it if I can.
Vaseline is better per DS2's dermatologist -- purer. He has really bad eczema on his cheeks that break open and bleed. The vaseline did help.
Thanks! I love your grammar siggy ... makes my day!
I second Avenoo! It's more expensive than the generic, but it REALLY is awesome and it doesn't smell yukcy like other ones... It's not too expensive and there are always coupons available.
