So last night I literally woke up with severe lower back pain and horrible period like cramps. I was up with them most of the night and finally fell asleep at around 530, just to get up again at 7. I dont really have any clue if this sounds like early labor or not (BTW I'm only 33 weeks), but my water didnt break (as far as I know), I didnt lose my MP, and the pain is not as bad now as it was. Still comes and goes, and feels like someone is stabbing me down there every now and again...but I assume real labor contractions would be more consistent or last longer or something.
Does anyone have any previous experience with this? Is this just normal pains? (although its quite unbearably painful to feel normal...hence the post). I have a doctors appointment today, but not until 5:30 and since I'm not high risk, my doc doesnt always have much sympathy for any pain complaints. TIA!
