Good morning Ladies. I hope everyone is doing well. So sad that we had to say goodbye to another Octo Momma. T&Ps continue for Petra! I didn't get a chance to update the chart last week...1st tri exhaustion is kicking my a$$. But I promise I will update it this week.

Re: ~~**October Checkin**~~
How are you feeling? Tired and lazy.
My nausea is being stubborn and inconsistent. I'll feel fine for a little bit, and then the gagging/dry heaving gets really bad. Last night I got to the point where brushing my teeth nearly turned ugly.
Any updates or upcoming appts? I had an u/s yesterday. Baby is measuring ahead at 10 weeks, and did a little dance for us on screen yesterday. Next appointment is 4/10.
Anyone going to have a NT Scan? Not sure. It hasn't been discussed with the OB yet.
GTKY: Do you have any pets if so tell us about them? We have one dog, a Catahoula Leopard who is currently curled up next to me on the couch, but is normally bouncing around. We also have 4 cats.
How are you feeling? Tired but decent. With the time change it's now dark when I wake up so that is seriously not helping the situation!
Any updates or upcoming appts? Our next OB appt is 4/4 and next u/s is 4/9...can't come soon enough!
Anyone going to have a NT Scan? My OB calls it the first trimester screen but I think it's the same thing? That's what they're doing on 4/9 (I think...omg I'm such a terrible pregnant woman..lol...they told us so much at the first appointment that I can't remember anything. All I know is to show up with a very full bladder and I get to see my baby)
GTKY: Do you have any pets if so tell us about them? we have a blue pitbull Diamond who is 5 (who thinks she's the size of a chihuahua and should therefore be allowed to sit in our laps), a tuxedo cat Oreo (she's about a year and a half), an orange tabby Penny (almost a year), and a sugar glider Gizmo (3 years I think)
How are you feeling? Nauseated, exhausted and lazy. I hate laying around so much. Def going to need a nap today. I am on call for work and have been up since 3:30am bc of an issue.
Any updates or upcoming appts? Just had my 8w and found out I am actually 7w5d today. New EDD 10/26
Anyone going to have a NT Scan? No, it wouldn't change things.
GTKY: Do you have any pets if so tell us about them? Three feline fur-babies. Bogart 10, Miles 6 and Stitch 2. Aka Tubby, Trouble and Terror respectivly. They certainly make life more intereting.
Keeping Petra in my heart this week...
How are you feeling? Still a bit nauseous, very tired and unmotivated to work. I love my daily naps
Any updates or upcoming appts? I meet my High Risk OB on 26 March and have my NT scan on 28 March.
Anyone going to have a NT Scan? Yes, it is pretty standard practice here in Ontario. Also, the NT scan is where we found out somethign was wrong last time (before losing the baby two days later).
GTKY: Do you have any pets if so tell us about them? We got our first puppy, Maggie, in November. She's a golden retriever who is all smiles and love. We've given her the nicknames 'Wiggles' or "Waggie Maggie' because in the morning and when we get home she wiggles and wags her tail so hard that she falls over.
M/C Nov 9, 2011 at 11 weeks.... We love you & miss you
How are you feeling? Ive been feeling goot but have had some abnormal discharge and being testing for a urinary infection...oh joy...
Any updates or upcoming appts? Just had a check up yesterday, my final one with my family Dr my next one is April 2nd with the OB. Everything seemed fine yesterday he said he can just feel the rim of the uterus but it probably wont really pop out for another week or two(its tilted too so shows later)
Anyone going to have a NT Scan? Thats my U/S on the 26th
GTKY: Do you have any pets if so tell us about them? We have a cat, Bailey, we have had him for about 5 years now, he isan great big orange cat who LOVES our kids and hates everyone else...seriously a major grump lol. We also have a Lab puppy, Rylie, she is 7 months now, we got her at 8weeks old and although she keeps us on our toes, she has been an awesome addition to our family...and aided in the cat losing some much needed wieght
May I be added to this check in, pretty please? Due 10/28 and Team Green, appt 3/19.
How are you feeling?
I am feeling really good!! I have been pretty tired in the afternoon and have been pretty hungry on and off. My breast have grown conisderably and hurt incredibily at night and my waist has certainly expanded but probably most likely due to my eating habits lately
Any updates or upcoming appts?
My next appt. is 3/20 and I am incredibly anxious!!!!!! I am assuming we are just going to look for a heart beat and confirm that things are where they are supposed to be.
Anyone going to have a NT Scan?
I am super conflicted about his decision! I have read so many posts and discussion on this topic but can't make up my mind. DH and I haven't really sat down and talked about it but I remember the last pregnancy, eventhough we didn't make it to that stage, we were opting not to. I've heard that there can be false positives and I am a super worrier.
GTKY: Do you have any pets if so tell us about them?
Candy is our almost 1 year old puppy who is absolutely adorable and lovable!
DRVST8 could you add me to team green please!! Thank you so much for taking your time to run this board.
Still sending T&Ps out to Petra. Heartbreaking...
How are you feeling? Starting to not be so tired in the evenings. I am hoping this renewed energy lasts! Starting to not sleep very well and having to use the bathroom a few times at night. I didn't know that would happen so soon!
Any updates or upcoming appts? Going in on Monday. Dr. gave us the option of coming in anywhere between 10 and 12 weeks to hear heartbeat at doppler (this is where our last pregnancy ended in sad news). We elected to go in at about 10.5 weeks so we're hoping once we hear that little thump we can feel a lot more joyful about this pregnancy.
Anyone going to have a NT Scan? We are not going to.
GTKY: Do you have any pets if so tell us about them. We have a 4 year old German Shorthaired Pointer named Stanley. He is a typical GSP - wise, friendly, and a BIG lap dog (76 lbs!). We love him but he is an awful lot of work because he is pretty high energy.
BFP#1 8/24/11, EDD 5/5/12, D&C 10/24/11 due to missed m/c
BFP #2 2/1/12, EDD 10/11/12. Baby arrived 10/9/12
BFP #3 5/6/14, EDD 1/14/15
How are you feeling? I'm getting there. Good days and bad days now. I think I have the constipation under control with Fiber Bars and Brownies. I've also started excersising again - I took way too much time off.
Any updates or upcoming appts? Appointment on Friday! She will try the doppler - if that doesn't work (I don't expect it to), she will do a quick u/s to check for a heartbeat.
Anyone going to have a NT Scan? Honestly, I haven't even thought about it. I think we might - just to help us with ease of mind.
GTKY: Do you have any pets if so tell us about them? We do. We have a 3.5 year old beagle - she is adorable and inside as well. We have a 6 year old Lab mutt - he is dumb, but we keep him around. We have a 6 year old black and tan hound dog. She is my pride and joy. She goes on runs with me, shakes, listens, and kills and hunts with the best of them. We also have a few cats outside. We also have a 2 year old redbone hound...he is gigantic and thankfully always kenneled except when hunting. I also have a mule that I adore and is very gentle. We also have some beef. I think that's it.
Open Heart Surgery @ 5 months old.Happy, healthy, and as normal as could be! We thank God every day.EP/BF for 12.5 months
TTC#2 - November 2012
BFP #4: O'd on CD25 (Aug. 2014). DD May 6, 2015. RCS planned.
Beta@14dpo: 184, 17dpo: 520. 44 hr. doubling time. p4: 54U/S 8 weeks 1 day, 161 bpm
Just FYI because it wasn't on the chart, we are team pink/blue.
How are you feeling? I would say the "perfect amount of disgusting." I didn't really have m/s with Peyton, so I wanted the pregnancies to be different. I feel totally crappy most of the time, but fortunately I'm not vomiting so much that I need zofran, so that's why I think it's just about right. I am starting to get sick of being such a sloth, but at the same time I'm happy to be here.
Updates/upcoming appointments: We're going to be seeing our OB every two weeks the whole time, so the next appointment with him is a week from today, but on Monday we're going to see the MFM. My OB wasn't super thrilled that the protein in my urine didn't go all the way back to zero, so he wants us to go talk to the MFM about that. From what I've read though, it's not uncommon with pre-e for it to take years to go all the way back down, or never go down at all. We'll see what the MFM has to say, hopefully it will make me feel better.
NT Scan: Not sure, we probably wouldn't choose to, but I am being monitored VERY closely with lots of ultrasounds, so I don't know if there's any information they could get related to pre-e or not... if so I'd guess they'll want to do it.
Any Pets: I wish, we were going to get a dog last year when we bought our house, but then I was pregnant and it didn't seem like great timing. This time though, I think we're going to get one while I'm pregnant but we're waiting until I'm not so barfy and useless, since I'll be the one home with it all day.
Married the love of my life 7/11/09 - Our first baby, Peyton Mark, was born sleeping 10/25/11 at 33 weeks - Our second baby, BFP 2/4/12, welcome to the world Raylan! Holy Moly, BPF 2/4/14, please be safe and sound little one!
My Blog
How are you feeling?
sums it up pretty well. Typically I'm nauseous in the 1st third and last third of the day but today is just totally kicking my @ss. I can't focus on work and just want to curl up on the couch all day and wish away my crappiness.
Any updates or upcoming appts? 1st u/s was on Monday (3.12) and it was great! We were measuring right on track for O date and got the official EDD of 10/31! We saw that baby was attached high in the uterus (didn't even know this was something to want, but yay!) and heard the HB at 137
. Next appt is 4/2
Anyone going to have a NT Scan? We are checking to see if insurance covers it and are leaning toward getting the scan. We rather know than just sit and wonder. We will need to have the discussion of what happens if we get bad news.... but after losing 1 LO, I can't imagine ever intentionally losing another. But we just have to make that decision official and clear prior to getting the results.
GTKY: Do you have any pets if so tell us about them? We have 2 cats: Zoe (girl) and Remy (boy).... they have special needs. Zoe was burned as a kitten and had tons of ear mites when she was dropped off at the SPCA. She has separation anxiety (will chew door frames of shut doors to get to us, and meows like a monster is after her if she hears us in the morning - we have a baby gate and cardboard blocking the stairway) and we think she's hard of hearing or deaf in one of her ears. But she's a perfect cat otherwise and tolerates all sorts of abuse from nephews and DH playing with her like she's a dog. Remy was weened too early so he suckles... he'll sit high up on my (or my mom's) chest and suck on the sleeve of your shoulder - he prefers the side of your finger. He is a typical cat and prefers me much more so than DH. He can also be a bit spiteful and if the litter box isn't as clean as he'd like (more than 1 day without scooping) he will sometimes poop just outside of the box on the concrete floor of our unfinished bathroom.
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
How are you feeling? Tired, and bloated, but I will take it. Give me reassurance my lil munchkin is still in there.
Any updates or upcoming appts? April 2nd is my next appointment.
Anyone going to have a NT Scan? I'm kind of on the fence about this one, DH thinks it would just create more worry for me since it won't change the outcome of the pregnancy, but at the same time I am an information person. I like to know as much as I can beforehand.
GTKY: Do you have any pets if so tell us about them? I have two pugs, a boy and a girl, and a male cat. My male pug is usually my dog, but when I am KU he acts out (like peeing on the carpet) and my female pug is more loving even though she is more DH's dog. My cat really hasn't taken to either one of us, but we say that he is Abby's (our female pug) cat since they grew up together and still play together.
BFP #1 - 8/28/11 -- MMC at 11w2d - Discovered at 13w5d on 11/7/11 -- D&C on 11/11/11
BFP #2 2/3/12 - EDD 10/15/12 - Born 10/16/12
Lots of ((hugs)) and T&P to Petra and her husband!
How are you feeling? Exhausted. I'm a big queasy now and then, but I haven't had any actual vomiting. Then again, I keep stuffing my face every chance I get, so I may be warding it off without realizing it. LOL
Any updates or upcoming appts? I have another u/s tomorrow to check on baby and that stupid clot. Hopefully the clot has disappeared, or shrank at the very least. (I know the chart says my appt is today, but doc had to change it due to a surgery that came up.)
Anyone going to have a NT Scan? I am actually not. I have gotten LOTS of u/s so far, so I don't feel bad for missing just one...I think. LOL DH really doesn't want to have it done. We have no risk factors, we're both in our 20s, so still young. He doesn't want to deal with the stress of just getting the odds and still not knowing. I refuse to get a CVS or amnio due to the m/c risk, so just the NT scan won't help us much anyway, ya know? We compromised. I'm not getting NT scan, and he's letting me buy a doppler.
GTKY: Do you have any pets if so tell us about them? No pets, just the husband.
After 7 years of no ovulation...
BFP#1 10/24/11 ~ EDD 6/29/12 ~ Natural m/c 11/2/11
BFP#2 2/3/12 ~ Alice born 9/26/12
How are you feeling? - it's been a rough week with dealing with a horrible cold.. I have been off work the last two days just to try to get some rest as that is all I can do..
Any updates or upcoming appts? - my next appointment is on march 30th and I am counting down the days
Anyone going to have a NT Scan? - Last time I was for it though this time I don't think I am.. Though will talk to the doctor to make an educated decision.
GTKY: Do you have any pets if so tell us about them? - we have dog named Stella.. She is half Boston and half french bull dog. She will be 2 in May.. She is pretty good though recently she has become territorial and will scream at guests.. It is soo horrible so we are looking into a dog trainer to come in our house to help us before baby comes..
BFP #1 on 5.28.11,EDD 01.22.12, u/s showing miss m/c 6.27.11, D&C 7.01.11 at 10weeks 5days
BFP #2 on 2.14.12,.EDD 10.22.12, Baby Dhillon was born on 10.13.12
BFP#3 on 8.16.13, EDD 4.17.14, Hang on here we go again!!
How are you feeling? For the most part ok. I get a little queasy here and there. Regardless of my day, I'm exhausted come 7pm.
Any updates or upcoming appts? I have my 8 week sono/OB appt later on today. I am so freakin' nervous!
Anyone going to have a NT Scan? Yes. They offer it to us as part of the quad screening. I'm a planner and need to know what's going on.
GTKY: Do you have any pets if so tell us about them? We have two strays that we have been taking care of. They are the momma and kitten. They've been here since we moved in over a year and a half ago and we just started feeding them. They take care of our gopher problem.
Still just trucking along this week, still not believing, even though we saw ToT on Friday. I have another u/s this Friday, so we'll see how it goes.
We'll probably have an NT scan, although we actually haven't thought that far ahead.
GTKY: I have three furbabies, who are my children. Nacho is a 12yo chihuahua mutt that we took in a few years ago, and Lemon and Ginger are twin lemon beagles who are only 1.5 years old.
How are you feeling? Pretty crappy. Hyperemesis is kicking my butt. I had my PICC line put in last week, and am still receiving IV fluids and IV zofran every-other-day. I also take zofran at home, just not in my IV.
Any updates or upcoming appts? My next OB visit is on Tuesday 3/20.
Anyone going to have a NT Scan? Yes. Hopefully I will be scheduling it at my appointment next week.
GTKY: Do you have any pets if so tell us about them? No pets for us.
How are you feeling? I am still tired all the time. I am also dealing with nausea but not actually throwing up. My boobs don't hurt but they still itch like crazy.
Any updates or upcoming appts? Next Wednesday (3/21) is my next appointment. I am terrified. My m/mc was discovered at 10 weeks..baby stopped developing at 8 weeks. I will be 11 weeks, 3 days on the 21st. I pushed the appointment out as far as they would let me. I am really scared that the dr will find another m/mc. Any thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.
Anyone going to have a NT Scan? I have no idea. My doctor hasn't mentioned anything about it. I am having an u/s done next Wednesday but I think it is just a regular one. So far this will be u/s #3 with many more to come.
GTKY: Do you have any pets if so tell us about them? We have one dog Chloe. She is a terrier mix and I think she is 4. She is a crazy dog but we love her
Sorry I'm late to the post. Been a long and busy week.
How are you feeling? I'm feeling okay. Still no ms but some light queasiness every once in a while. Boobs are still killing me and the fatigue has hit me head on this week.
Any updates or upcoming appointments? Saw a hb of 108 at 6w0d. Also saw that my fibroid that had shrunk after my mc is back and laying very close to the gestational sac. I will have sonos every 2 weeks for awhile to monitor growth. Next appointment at 8w on 3/20
NT scan? Yes. If my insurance covers it. I need to check.
Pets? We have two cats. Nynaeve is our little girl and super sweet but incredible spoiled. She loves to get in between my DH and I whenever she can. Bobby is our very big boy cat. He is a trouble maker but so much fun. Has a tough exterior but the sweetest, loving boy on the inside. We have been trying to pick on him a little more to get him ready for the baby. We have been able to discipline him enough that he won't turn and try to pounce...it's a work in progress
