Update on my earlier post "so worried"

LO seems to be doing much better today, no fever and he has his appetite back. No growth on the culture so it looks like viral menengitis, not bacterial. We should be going home today. I feel do horribly guilty, I'm sure it's my fault he got sick...I took him to run a couple of errands and maybe I shouldn't have because he picked a virus somewhere. The poor thing has been poked and prodded for two days and it's my fault, what a great mom I am.

    I am so glad to hear that it was just viral!  Don't beat yourself up over LO getting sick, it happens.  I completely relate to you as I just went through the poking, prodding and hospital stay last week with my LO.

    So glad LO is feeling better. You can' t blame yourself for him getting sick. It happens!!

    So very happy to hear he's doing better and it's just viral !! But please don't blame yourself he just pick up something it could of happened to any of us. Take it easy and just cuddle the little guy

    Don't blame yourself....its unrealistic for you to keep him in a bubble so to speak.  Glad he is doing better and going easy on yourself.

    I am so glad that your little guy is feeling better!  Please don't beat yourself up, babies get sick everyday and you can't keep him inside forever!  You are a great mom and don't think anything different.

    So sry he got sick. I'm glad he's doin better!!! I'm sure u r doing a great job! Sometimes things just happen. They can't live in plastic bubbles. Tho most the time I wish mine could!

    Glad to hear he is better. . .I came on just to see if I could find an update. Don't worry about taking him out. . .It's definitely not your fault! You can't control everything and who knows, it could make him stronger in the long run.
