I don't normally do this type of thing but, my sister's (half sister) granddaughter was born at 25 weeks. She was doing great initially but now is going through a rough time. She needed no breathing assistance for about a week and is now on CPAP, was diagnosed with NEC, her whole little body is swollen from fluids and now she isn't urinating. If they can get her infection under control she will have surgery.
Prayers are needed for little Zoie. Her parents are only 18 years old and not handling things so well.
I remember reading a while back there is a website/foundation that donates support items to families in need with preemies but I can't find it now. Does anyone know what site that is?
Re: Need prayers and support please for a 25 weeker
NEC is a scary issue - so I hope they get it under control, and I'll be sending lots of good vibes out to your family and little Zoie and hope she can avoid surgery.
We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

Sending my very best wishes for the tiny new arrival. Graham's Foundation is the foundation that sends care packages to parents in a long NICU stay.
Best wishes.
