If you ordered a basket from 'It's In The Bag'....

Did you receive your basket with the same font as pictured? The basket I chose had this super cute curly thin lettered font on it. When I received my basket his name was in chunky block letters. Needless to say, I wasn't too happy about it. I messaged them saying they should give an option for font if they have it but I would still keep my basket.

I didn't get any type of response at all. An acknowledgement would have been nice at least but I'm a bit disappointed with them. I'm still unhappy with the look of his basket and it's just a bummer. I suppose I'll have to buy a new liner but I'm a bit disgruntled I have to give them more business when their customer service was shotty.

Anyone have a similar experience?

  • I ordered last year, & I specified that I wanted the font that was in the picture. Even if you didn't specify that, they still shouldn't change it without your request to do so. I would be really annoyed about the lack of response,

  • Its the details like that that make the sale for me. If one of the details that I really liked had been changed on the final product without advising me, I would be requesting a refund. If I wanted shoddy customer service, I could have gone to walmart or sprint. Thats another something that would have me requesting a refund. I would call or email a complaint, and make sure this time you CC the provider or website that person's store is on if its ebay or etsy or something else like that.

  • Also, I would ask them about it on their FB wall. If they know other prospective customers will see that, they are more likely to respond.

    I had exceptional customer service from them last year when I ordered DD's basket. I remember telling them the font I wanted though. I wonder if they didn't see your question. I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt bc they were so helpful when I ordered. I second the idea of leaving the question on their fb wall. I'm sorry you aren't happy with it!

  • I will ask again and post it to their wall. It's been about 3 weeks since I asked about it the first time. I figured if they didn't ask for the type of font you wanted it would just 'default' to the one in the picture.

  • Well I posted on their wall and it was clearly there. 10 minutes later it was deleted, still no message or response.

    VERY disappointed. Oh well, not much I can do about it now.

    I was just coming to say to watch out for this. I've had this happen before (with different sellers, not this one) where I post to their fb and they delete it. Very frustrating.

     Do they have options for reviews on their page? I would definitely be leavin one.

    I looked around a little bit but didn't see anything. I was going to order a Halloween basket as well but I think I'd have better luck on Etsy. I simply 'unliked' the page
