So my DD is a pincher. I think she is doing it to sooth herself but it hurts and I need tips on how to get her to stop. It usually happens as she is trying to fall asleep or when she snuggles. She would do it when I was breast feeding her and my boobs were black and blue!!
Since I've stopped breast feeding, she is doing it to anyone who is holding her. My mom, my DH, no one is safe! Any tips for getting her to stop? I've tried redirecting her and covering up but she just finds a way to get her little hands under clothes and blankets to pinch away.
(Just to clarify it's the upper area of my chest above the bra line and sometimes the face and neck. She has even gotten the, super sensitive, back side of the upper arm.) Please help!!!

I'm assuming it is your younger daughter you're talking about? That's tough since she's just a baby. 11 months is old enough to start registering 'no'. Maybe when she does it say 'no' and give her a sad face so she associates the two???
If it was your older daughter I was going to say- I'd pinch her back! Haaha! I've watched kids at 2yrs old that were pinchers and while I couldn't do it (I am a PT child care provider and would never cross that line with one else's kids) I always thought their parents should have.
