One year ago yesterday, a massive earthquake and tsunami took the lives of nearly 16,000 people in Japan. At the exact same time, God granted life to a tiny baby. One that was not supposed to survive. With the strength of those 16000 souls that little tiny girl trumped all the odds and not only survived but thrived! Now, one year later our miracle Madison turns a year old. She has taught me strength, patience and acceptance. She is my inspiration and my joy. She is our blessing and gift. Happy Birthday beautiful baby girl. I will never be able to express in words how much I love you.

To those of you with brand new micros - these little miracles are so strong - so much stronger than even thier amazing mothers! press on and know that you can deal with anything!!! And dont dispair because just when you think things are so bad, our little ones show us that love and life find a way ~

Happy birthday Madison!

You're post has me in tears! My little miracle turns one in 2.5weeks. Where has the time gone? This coming Saturday is my one year since being admitted to the hospital.
