Weird question...

but my body seems to be gearing up. Not that it's ready now or the boys are ready now (and I hope they hold out another week or so!!), but I have a few more intense contractions each day (no regularity, docs know about them). The boys keep sinking/pushing lower -- I think they're both still head down. TMI: increased discharge. And I'm just getting *antsy*.

So no real labor signs but I wonder if my body/the boys know it's about to be time.

Did you notice anything like that??

The day that I had the babies, I took Emerson to school and came home, got back and the bed and didn't get back up until it was time to go get her around 11:45 am which was completely out of the ordinary-never did or do this. I was having shooting pains down the front top of my legs. Nothing that I would call contractions. I called the doctor just because I felt very tired and the pain in my legs. Sure enough I was having contractions and didn't even realize it. Since it was a repeat section they, decided to ahead and get the babies before the real labor started. They didn't want me to hemorage internally from my previous section either.

Mama's intuition....you're so stinking close. Do you have all your plans together for your daughter? Bags packed? ; )

Yeah, I've always felt they'll come early and lately I've been thinking 37 weeks. Hopefully they make it to that but again, if they come next week or around 36 that'd be okay, too.

Bags are packed! No other kids but we have everything ready. Just need to install the car seat bases

I delivered 5.6lb and 4.13 babies at 33w4d. The night before happened I was so over it I KNEW something was going on but I wasn't "in labor". I even wrote a blog post about 12 hours before my water broke saying something wasn't right and I was just done, my body was DONE DONE DONE. Looking back I knew it was coming even though I knew I wasn't "scheduled" to have them for a few more weeks. In the middle of the night my water broke and they were born vaginally about 12 hours later. They were quit large for their gestional age (and I'm very thin 5'6" 110lbs pre baby) and my body just couldn't carry any more baby. So when I look back I could say yes I knew something was up. GL!

I can't believe that you're so close. It's starburst that has the little girl....I knew that. : )

well you know im 3 days behind you and i havent noticed too much. ...the only thing that seems to keep changing is the discharge - definitely getting more of it which started at about 32 weeks. tapered off, then started up again at the end of last week. ill be interested to see if im dilated more on wednesday.

the contractions are usually at night...just BH though, not painful, not really more intense.

for awhile i thought i would go early but idk, right now im thinking ill last until 37 weeks...we'll see.

I didn't even recognize labor. The night before my scheduled c section I couldn't sleep because I was so uncomfortable. I was sure baby A had turned breech and that every time he moved it was painful. I was hooked up to monitors once at the hospital and told my OB that I suspected they were both were now breech. He got an ultrasound machine to check, and while he was looking, I was having big contractions showing up. Who knows how long it would have taken me to realize it was labor if I were still at home. Anyway, good luck!

Thank you!! I'm still jealous Tootle is more rounded than me :-P but I'm glad everything's mostly belly.

I cannot wait. I think the end is nigh. Not imminent but close. They've been impatient to get out (via belly button and butt, mostly, lol) since 26/27 weeks so I wouldn't be surprised if they punched their way out a little earlier than even I expect!

I was 31 weeks... I knew.. I went to my ob the week before (30 weeks) I told her that I didn't feel right And that something was wrong. I felt like I had a stomach flu also very sweaty and dizzy on and off. And was having a lot of bh's. She sent me to ld and I was having no contractions and just alittle irritability. The ffn test was also negative so I thought I bought myself another 2 weeks b/c it was negative. 5 days later my water broke in the middle of the night and my babies were born 3 days after that. I'm the .001 % were the ffn test was a false negative.

yes it's me with the little girl:) good luck ninja....i never went into labor with 2 YET but i do know that the morning i went into labor with my DD i was bleeding a bit....and that was a for sure sign something was up....but the head grinding i felt for a few weeks before she arrived.... bc she was low down for awhile but didn't come till 41 weeks....i sort of "just knew" and i think you will too!!! glad your bag is packed:)
