XP: 7 year old diapers?

This might be a dumb question. But would you use 7 year old diapers? At one of my showers someone gave us huge pack of Huggies. I just went to open them and they are from 2005. For some reason, I don't feel comfortable using them.

    lol...my neighbors gave me a pack of pampers from 1996...i actually used one in a crunch- no harm to baby.  but they are like sandpaper compared to today's diapers.  not sure about 2005- they are probably still very different from how they are made today.  i don't think there is an expiration date, but i guess it depends on your comfort level (and baby's!).  i suppose you can call huggies and see if there are any chemicals that would be harmful upon degradation.

    I don't see why not.  Knowing how long it takes those things to biodegrade you could probably use them on your grandkids.
