Going home on Wednesday!!!

Hi I'm doing my best not too get too excited, but DS 's nicu team has set a tentative discharge date of this Wednesday! Omg am I excited & anxious at the same time. He will be sent home with monitors (pulse sock & oxygen for feeding times only). I'm really worried that we'll have a d that I can't manage, but oh how I can't wait to get him home. Wednesday will be day #44. DH & I were floored when they told us since we thought at least a week or 2 more. So we are frantic in a good way getting ready, cleaning, etc.

Thats great! Mine came home on apnea monitors for 2.5 months. It wasn't too bad, just a bit of hassle but 10000x better than having them in the NICU!

Yay! So exciting! My DD came home on apnea monitor & oxygen on Februart 4th after 70 days in the NICU. Now, a little over a month later, we're successfully weaning her O2 & have learned to live with the monitor! Good luck!
