That's super cute! I wouldn't spend that much, but we are the most frugal (and kinda broke) people on the planet. I'm all about the consignment store for toys like this. If you have the money and want to spend it, then go ahead! It looks like a great toy and will probably withstand multiple kids and can be used into early elementary school age.
Nope. Mostly because we spent $60 on a much smaller Step 2 kitchen that he loves just as much as he would have a big one. Plus, we would have absolutely nowhere to put that in our house.

That is my dilemma...I am a cheap wh0re and don't want to fork out $200! But for some reason I am drooling at this kitchen!!
LOL - It's really cute! And it does come with all the food/accessories...
On the other hand, my kid is really happy with a bowl and wooden spoon from our big people kitchen and that costs nothing but a few cents of dish soap...
This is one of those things I'd save on my computer "favorites" and drool over, but purchase a cheap version from a JBF sale or Goodwill.

Ditto.

No, I wouldn't spend that much. We have had a play kitchen for 3yrs and I imagine it will be in my future for at least 5 more. And, even going into it knowing that, I still had a hard time forking over $110. We got an awesome deal on a nice big Kidkraft wooden kitchen on Cyber Monday, and I still felt like it was sooo much. A lot of friends of mine have found next-to-new at consignment stores or garage sales for under $50.

While it looks uber cool, a) it looks huge and my house is way too small for a toy that big and b) it's hard for me to justify buying the $190 version, fully knowing I can get something similar for $60.
I say you get it, then invite us over to play with it! It looks like the kind of toy that's great for your friends to own.

Hahaha! Like trampolines and pools.

If I had the room absolutely. However we got a smaller kitchen like this and D loves it. If you have the room I say take that money and buy a big outside toy. That is what I would do anyways. But I am totally drooling on all of the outside things I want to get. :P
no way! that's a lot of money for something made of plastic. i think plastic kitchens look pretty tacky. i much prefer the DIY ones made from old entertainment centers or even making your own out of wood if you or your man is really handy.
Ha...yes, I would likely spend the money on it. But we don't have a basement and don't really have the space for it. DS played with a kitchen for the first time yesterday at my friend's house and loved it, so there is definitely a kitchen in his future....just a smaller one.
No. I'm not into big toys like this though. If I were to get something like a play kitchen, I'd totally go the Craigslist route or consignment sale route.

It seems like a pretty good deal because it's so big, but I think I would not buy it beacuse it's so big. Where would it go? I definitely want to get a kitchen for DS, but there are smaller ones out there, and that's what I'd go for.
I am usually so frugal (I can think of a few things I've ever bought new for Avery) but I saw this and drooled! DH was like, NO. I think the problem is that I want it more than Avery probably would!!

That's a really cool toy. However, unless he IS Mario Batalli or your last name is Rockafeller, there's no way in heck I'd pay $200 for on toy.
(Unless it's a bouncy house. Cuz I did that already.)
It's really cute and if we had the room I'd love to get G a kitchen. The one I'm drooling over is this:

I really prefer the wooden kitchens because I think they'll hold up better.
