Daylight savings?

Are you changing up your routine with daylight savings?  DS has been having a rough time going to bed lately, so I am dreading tonight!  In the past I think we have let him stay up or put him to bed 1/2 hour difference depending on the shift.  And then waited the long week or two for everyone to adjust.  Hopefully if we play outside all afternoon he will be worn out!

Re: Daylight savings?

  • ds has no clue of the difference.  however, bed time can vary quite a bit in our household.  ds is very easy going.

Yeah we'll play  hard this afternoon and hope she goes to bed at the new old time :P.

This was the key for us!  Amazingly the weather was fantastic, so we were outside for hours...first time all winter.  Before dinner DS was saying he was tired.  He is laying in his bed talking quietly...but no big issues laying down!  Eh...we'll see how the rest of the week goes!

  • As soon as the kids were up this morning, I adjusted the whole day to reflect our normal schedule based on the "new" time. DS was fine but DD was a hot mess most of the day. They went to bed at the time they normally would and will hopefully have a good night. I always find the time change in the fall to be MUCH worse for us!
