My daughter's bangs are getting long, and they are very hard to pin back because her hair is so silky and fine. My mom suggested cutting her bangs. Have any of you cut your daughter's bangs?

I did w/ DD1 b/c of the same issue (fine hair) and now I'm growing them out (almost 3 yo) and it's a PITA. She looks cute w/ bangs but also has a little forehead and will look better w/o them. It was difficult to trim them when she was younger b/c she wouldn't sit still. Close to 2 1/2 she got used to it and would welcome the bang trim.

My daughter is 3 and we just cut her hair, but I would never do bangs because they are too much upkeep. We use bows that have a no slip liner in them that holds the hair like these. You can also buy the really tiny pony tail holders that are like made of silicone like these and they do a good job holding the fine hair back, you can get them at Target Hope that helps! If you couldn't tell, we are serious about hair and hair accessories in this house!

I'm not cutting DD's hair until she's at least one. It needs to be pinned back all the time or it hangs in her eyes. She loves to pull the barrette out now too, which is always fun. I just love her hair so much and I can't bring myself to have it cut.
I was just going to let my daughters hair go out natually in one length, but my MIL kept complaining so I went ahead and trimmed her bangs a bit. now they are not hanging in her eyes and I don't have to deal with the comments EVERY TIME we go over there.
If the house ain't burned down and the baby's fed it was a successful day.
i keep thinking im going to cut it....shes 10mo now and their always in her eyes and she hates clips or even getting her hair combed....my husband doesnt want me to touch it tho...he says it looks cute wispy lol
My baby has had her bangs cut 2x already. I bring her to a kid salon. I leave my baby's bangs long like that too. I'm not a fan of extremely short bangs on babies or adults. I leave them eyebrow length. I would advise NOT cutting them yourself bc I did hers, and I cut them wet which I found out later was a no-no, and butchered them. They were uneven and too short. I felt soo bad , but h,er hair literally grew back to the length it was within a month. She has a ton of hair so I use clips and headbands, but I keep some of the bangs down. I'd leave them.
