Double Snap N Go Stroller

Anyone use/d this? Any input? I think it would be pretty useful for the first 8 months so I could just snap in the carseats.. TIA Ladies!

  • I love mine. I used the single on for our girls, so i knew I wanted the double when we discovered we were expecting twins.

  • I was given one, but obviously haven't used it yet. I'm not a huge fan of it since I can't see into the second carseat (I'm 5 ft). I'm planning on giving it to my mom to use when she watches the babies.

  • Love it. So far it's the only stroller we've used and it works out great!

  • Yep.  We got one to use for the first 6-7 months and then started using our Bumbleride after that.  Loved the convenience factor of it.
Dx with severe endometriosis. DS#1 conceived with Met and TI. TTC#2 for 2.5 yrs. Dx 2nd IF. 4 clomid cycles, 2 IUIs, Finally IVF#1 w/ICSI worked for us! twins born 35w3d. Unexpected total hysterectomy 6/11. Now on the HRT train.

  • I actually prefer the city mini. I was using the DSNG and then two days ago we were doing a quick stroll around our complex so we laid the seats all the way back on the city mini, put the Boppy head supports down in them so they wouldn't roll all over and snapped the girls in. It was much lighter to push and easier to maneuver IMO. We'll still use the DSNG for stores and stuff, but the city mini works better then I thought it would at this age. The thing I like about using the DSNG in stores is that if the girls are in the car seats tucked away people are less likely to try to touch them. I also like having it because now we have a stroller for each car.

  • Are you buying Babytrend carseats to go with it? My dilemma is they arent rated well and Im not sure if the other brands fit?

I answered your other post but will reply here too :) We used Graco Snugride 32s, which snapped right in. 35s snap in as well and from what I hear Chicco's fit but do not snap in.

OP ~ I definitely considered it a necessity in the beginning. We actually used ours for almost 9mo!

  • LOVE mine. I desperately need a "regular" stroller, as my GIANT boys have almost outgrown their Graco Snugride 30s, but I'm a little sad to be saying goodbye to the convenience of the DSNG.

As for the PP who said she prefers her City Mini, obviously the MUCH more expensive City Mini will handle much better. The DSNG is not easy to maneuver, but the perk of just snapping the babies in while still in their carseats makes up for it.

ETA: Check craigslist, as sometimes they are on there for a steal. I got mine on craigslist for $10. That's not a typo- $10! I'm the 3rd owner, but for $10 I didn't really care!

TTC for 3 years. Finally successful after 5 IUIs and 2 cycles of IVF. Our amazing twins were born 5 weeks early on 8/16/11. Found out April 2012 that our di/di twins are ID.

Oh, I know that the price difference is huge, but if someone was planning on getting the City Mini or Select or another similar stroller they could probably make do with just that if they wanted to. I didn't expect to be able to put the girls in it so early since I didn't buy the bassinet attachments so I figured I'd mention it.  But I do agree that the DSNG has its perks.

A must have! You can also find a ton on Craig's List and since it's just plastic and metal, it should be in good condition.

  • hands down, absolute neccesity - still using ours at 11 months with Graco Snugride 35 carseats - would be immobile without it.
TTC #1 for over 5 years - too many to count IF treatments (tried everything and anything), repeat miscarriages. Finally, Sticky Success!! B/G Twins arrived 2011. VOTE on my Name List Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • Essential as far as I'm concerned.  It was basically the only stroller we used for  months or so.  I still use mine from time to time for quick trips or if the boys fall asleep in the car.

Also, there is nothing wrong with Baby Trend car seats!  They perform well in crash tests and are great to use.  We love ours!

  • We used it for 9 months and loved it.  We had the Graco Snugrides as well and they fit great

  • I love mine. It is so easy to go out by myself with the boys.
