chugging his drinks!

Anyone elses little one full on chug their drink the second they get it? My son will literally finish off the entire cup before putting it down, then of course becomes cranky and gassy within a few minutes of doing this. I started giving him half the amount in his cups, but then he just sucks on air until I take the cup away. Any suggestions to get him to stop?

    Em only takes sips of hers. Aiden on the other hand chugs his in one sitting, but he's 2.5 so he can handle it just fine.

    I wonder if you can't find a sippy with smaller holes that won't allow him to chug so fast? But then you hate to see him struggle to get anything out... Sorry no real suggestions here.

    Yes, James is horrible about this! The minute you give him anything he drinks it so fast, he will chug down his apple juice (for constipation) in like 1 minute, about 3 oz. then burps for the next three minutes. He does the same thing with his milk drinking it, all at once.
