Re: how do you warm up babys lotion?

  • With my own two hands! :)

I just pump the lotion into my palms and rub back and forth until its warm... that is all! :) Seems to do the trick!

  • I put the lotion bottle in the bath when she is having her bath and it is pretty warm by the time she is done.
  • Rub it in my hands for a minute before applying it on LO.

If it is cold on my hands I do, because if it is cold for me, it'll be colder for DS.

LOL.  I'm not being snarky either but I bet it isn't -15* where you live today :)  It's super chilly here and no matter how warm the house is those darn wipes and lotions are always freezing.

I put my lotion in the bath as well.

  • I usually just warm it by pumping it and rubbing it between my hands.  I like the idea of the bath water - I've had three kids and never thought of that!  It's really been pretty mild here this year so I wouldn't have really thought about cold lotion.... yet...

    :)

  • Until a couple weeks ago I would put the bottle in her bath so it would be toasty warm. Now that she's a little older I just warm it in my hands (not sure that helps much thought bc my hands aren't usually very warm) but she doesn't seem to mind the lotioning part anymore, she just hates getting dressed!
