So my husband and I have been sold on the middle name Blue since way before Beyonce had her baby. It was a name of one of my former students who I have stayed connected with and she still volunteers in my classroom. I am a elementary school teacher and she is now in high school. Anyway, now we are considering changing our name from Sydney Blue to Sydney Belle because I dont want people to think that I am copying Beyonce and Jay-z baby's name. What do you guys think we should do?

Keep it as Sydney Blue. We are naming our baby Jace and have considered the name way before teen mom ever existed. Now theres a baby on the show named Jace. I could care less, still using the name.

Keep it. In the end I really don't think people will jump to the conclusion that you were trying to copy Beyonce.

But in seriousness......who cares what Beyonce did. Don't worry about it. IF anyone asks about it, just tell them why you chose Blue.

Keep it. I have a friend with a 7 year old named Sophia Blue. Obviously, long before Jay-Z and Beyonce . It's more appropriate as a middle name anyway. Most people aren't going to know/care about Jay-z, Beyonce and the name of their kid.

Keep it. I know others with this name actually so Beyonce isn't the only one. John Travolta's daughter's middle name is Bleu (I believe) and I've seen it just "Blu" too...point being that there is more than one way to spell it... don't know if you'd take that into consideration.
