people truly think they're being clever, I swear. If I had a nickel for everytime I hear "double trouble", I'd be rich and my boys are only 2.5 months old!

I have two 4-year-olds and twin 4-month-olds and I hear it ALL DAY LONG. I just look at them straight in the eye and say, no I don't, its not that hard. They are always taken back and insist that I do but I refuse to let them tell me how "full my hands are". And I mean it, it REALLY isn't that bad haha. Yes I have help and a great hubby and my 4 year olds are about the sweetest kids ever but still I HATE when people assume that my life must be a living hell bc honestly it couldn't be farther from the truth. Life is GOOD GOOD GOOD! Love every second with my 4 kids!

Aw yes, I get this all the time. I have two responses. If I'm feeling especially nice that day or if it's a person who seems like they aren't being rude with the comment, I say "...sometimes, but I can't imagine having one of them without the other." I always get a nice smile and "Aww..." from the person, most often a sweet old lady. If I'm feeling a wee bit biotchy, I look all confused and say "... well... I don't try to hold them BOTH at the same time... that would be kinda weird." The person then stumbles on their words, trying to explain that wasn't actually what they meant. They quickly realize I was being a smart a$$ and just stop talking.
I get "boy you have your hands full!" at least twice a day when I am out and about with my three. My standard reply is "Better full than empty!" People seem to like that and it usually gets them off my case
I have heard this since I was preggo with my last kiddo my first two are 17 months apart and now I'm preggo with twins! I don't think people realize that WE KNOW!
I get "You've got your hands full!" wherever I go. I usually just smile and say "I wouldn't want them empty!"
This is GREAT! I had no idea what to tell people when they make these open statements. I would be like, thanks? Or ok? Ah, how great.
I like this one. I often just say "yep." and leave it at that.
