If you have swelling, when did it start? My weight gain has been right on track (if anything a little slow) but I've gained 5lbs in the last week. I've just noticed that my rings are tight and my shoes feel tight too. I am almost 32 weeks and freaking out about it!
Re: Swelling in hands and feet
i gained 5 pounds in the last 2 weeks (after gaining nothing in the 2 weeks before that), and my hands and feet have been pretty swollen over the last week. actually, my feet just started swelling in the last few days...
i mentioned it to my dr. and she said it's normal, and the best remedy is "to just have the baby." gee, thanks.
in the meantime i will try to drink more water, eat less sodium and stay off my feet!
I started majorly swelling at 35 weeks. My doctor is not worried about my weight gain because I am so swollen. Her suggestions for reducing swelling are like those above: keep feet up, reduce sodium, drink lots of water. I have been trying these, but my hands and feet still look like they belong to Shrek.
