Nickname for your baby/bump

How are you referring to your baby/bump? I know there must be some cute nicknames out there. 

As soon as we found out, it started as our "stowaway" but since it was ivf and we intentionally put it there it didn't quite work. My mom squealed "ooh - dragon baby" when she found out (I'm Asian if that explains a little). So that's been our latest nn - dragon baby or db. 

 

*and sorry if I'm being a PW. I'm sitting at the airport waiting for my flight to start boarding.

    We had been calling our baby peewee.  MH came up with it trying to think of things that mean small, but it's actually my grandfather's nickname, and he didn't know that.  So I thought it was perfect.  But since I found out a girl, I don't think peewee works anymore.  I mostly just call her baby girl.  How lame am I?

    My sister called her "Fe" short for fetus.... at one time Phoebe was on the choice names and we told her she just couldn't.... it ended up being a Sarah

    Multiple ectopics, 2 failed IVF's
    IVF #1: Did not get to ET, embies all failed PGD (major chromosomal defects)
    IVF #2: We have 2 chromosomally perfect embies as a result of PGD (Boy/Girl) 1 failed the thaw (Girl) Transferred 1, yet ended as a c/p
    Thought it was the end of our TTC Journey 6/20/2012
    SHOCK BFP 9/28/2012: IT'S A BOY! and everything is normal !!!!!!

    Little A born 38w 2d on 05/23/13 and is a true miracle for this IF Vet!

    After 22 cycles and 4 failed IUIs, Serafina joined our family through IVF/ICSI, born 8.28.12
    Our surprise baby, Juliette, is due 12.8.14!

    in the very beginning, we were calling it the "dandelion"...we watched that national geographic special "In the womb" after we found out, and at the point we were at, when it was just a ball of cells, it looked like a dandelion, so it stuck as a nickname for a while LOL  it was fun to speak in code in the beginning when no one knew what we were saying!

    and now it's just "baby"..DH and I talk to my belly, but we just say "baby", especially being team green, we don't call it he or she, so just "baby" :)

    We call each other "B" so this is baby B. But just recently, DH started calling him "poofy" or "poofster" in reference to those adorable fat rolls babies have on their arms & legs :)

    The bump itself is referred to as the "baby bungalow".  The baby has a few nicknames (as does everyone in my family)....Pac-Man (1st ultrasound heart flicker looked like Pac-Man), Rice-A-Roni (printed ultrasound pic of baby looked like a grain of rice), Baby Bug, or Pumpkin.

    Sometimes I refer to them as 'the feti'.. ha.  DH doesn't like that though.  Generally they get 'the babies'.  Very creative, I know.

    Since we only had one egg fertilize and put back we dubbed it from the start baby bullseye.  DH is also a gun nut so it worked.  A friend of mine call it Emmett for Emmett the embryo.

    Before we knew the sex we were calling her "the critter."  Now she's either "baby girl", "the critter" (still), or "little creature."
    me - 41 (dx: DOR); DH - 53 (no problems); 7/18/09 - married!; 8/4/09 - BFP on first (real)try; 9/14/09 - missed m/c; 9/15/09 - d&c; 11/09 - 3/10 - 4 natural cycles = BFN; 4/10 - dx hyperthyroidism caused by Graves' disease; 6/10 - thyroidectomy; 7/10 - 12/10 - 1 natural and 5 medicated IUI cycles = BFN; 1/11 - new RE; dx low ovarian reserve (AMH .42; 1/26/11 -- BFP (ectopic) from IUI #6; methotrexate 2/10/11; 6/2/11 - IVF #1 = BFN; 9/12/11 - prescreening for DE; 9/15/11 - IUI #7 (unmedicated)= BFN; 11/8 - begin DE cycle (shared risk program); 12/5 - ER (5 eggs/4 mature/3 fertilized/2 left by day 5) 12/10 - ET of one 1BB blast (expanded, "fair" quality), none to freeze; 12/22 - totally shocked by +hpt; beta #1 = 413; #2 = 3952 2/14 - CVS reveals a healthy baby girl! EDD: 8/27/12 DD born 8/31/12, 10 lbs 10 oz and perfect in every way.

    Baby was called "Meatball" until we found out the sex. She is now called by her name.

    DH has a bunch of nicknames.. but mostly used is "doodlebug" and "Junior"
