Hi all, I don't usually post on this board, but I hope you might have some advice
DS has been sleeping independently since he was an infant, but when I got pregnant again I was emotional and anxious (PGal) and he was having some difficulty with the transition to preschool, so he started sleeping with us. There are lots of things I like about it, but I am worried about his sleep being interrupted when the baby comes. I started slowly moving him back into his own room (we slept with him, then i was sleeping on the floor next to him, etc) but he really started backsliding, and then he had to go to daycare part time and I could just tell how overwhelmed he was. Soooo, long story long, it looks like he's hanging out in my bed for a while longer...
Does anyone have older kids cosleeping with new babies (Little Bro will be in a basinett, not in the bed...)?
How is the Big Kid sleeping?
Any tips on this?
Should I still be encouraging Big Bro to try his own bed, or let it go for now?
How about keeping a bedtime consistant for Big Bro, even when Little Bro (and Mommy) are still up?
What can I do if it's a disaster?
Thanks ladies!
