I posted on 3T that the
ARCS Mini is 23% off but when I was lurking 2T I saw that someone posted an
article about how they aren't safe so I thought I would ask here since there are all kinds of moms on this board. My cousin has told me it is the best thing ever and has given me all kinds of reasons but of course I am a paranoid FTM. Thanks for your opinions.

Re: Is the mini ARCS safe?
Here is a link the the Arms Reach recall mentioned in the article you mentioned: https://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml11/11187.html
In summary, people weren't using it right so the company asked people to contact them for another set of directions, a warning label, and to replace any missing parts. The recall did not involve the mini which does not use the piece of fabric described in the recall.
I feel safe using the mini and think it was a great purchase. I used it with DS and DD2 (in fact still in our room for occasional use). I much prefer it to the PNP bassinet that I used with DD1.
