Is the mini ARCS safe?

I posted on 3T that the ARCS Mini is 23% off but when I was lurking 2T I saw that someone posted an article about how they aren't safe so I thought I would ask here since there are all kinds of moms on this board. My cousin has told me it is the best thing ever and has given me all kinds of reasons but of course I am a paranoid FTM. Thanks for your opinions.

    We have it and use it every night still. I read that article and I have never heard one bad thing about Arm's Reach. I know some other kinds of co-sleepers aren't safe but I really don't see how this one is not? There's no way I could roll on him and theres no way he could slip through the frame because there isn't any gap. Actually I read a lot of great reviews about it through this board so that helped me make my decision about purchasing it but to each his own!

    This is what we have and still use. I love it, totally safe and keeps her just inches from me where I can check her breathing, pop a paci back in, and be there to shush if she gets startled. Would recommend it highly!

    In summary, people weren't using it right so the company asked people to contact them for another set of directions, a warning label, and to replace any missing parts.  The recall did not involve the mini which does not use the piece of fabric described in the recall.

     I feel safe using the mini and think it was a great purchase.  I used it with DS and DD2 (in fact still in our room for occasional use).  I much prefer it to the PNP bassinet that I used with DD1.
