Luke or Matthew

Girl:

Emma, Katherine, or Adele

Which do you like the best and why?

    Much prefer Luke to Matthew!  Your girl names are NMS... but maybe Adele? I think it sounds the prettiest and is not overdone at all.

    thanks.  Yes, we like common, easy to pronounce names.  We don't mind if they are super popular:)    I know that for many that is not their style:)

    Love Matthew and Adele! The others are nice, but I know a bazillion little Lukes and Emmas. I really like Katherine too but like Adele more. Simple and beautiful. (I wish my DH liked it.)

    Love Luke or Matthew

    I'd probably go with Matthew because I think Luke has been really popular the last year or 2

    I love Emma and Katherine

    I'd probably go with Katherine for the same reason

    do not like adele at all

    I like Luke and Emma

    Catherine is not my style - just don't like the name, never have never will.

    And Adele is also not a favorite of mine.

    I also like Matthew.

    I love Luke, but I don't know why I prefer it over Matthew.

    I also love all of your girls names, but I love Katherine right now--maybe because it's been in the media lately, and I like the nickname Katie for a little girl.

    I like both of your boy names- Luke maybe a little more than Matthew, but that's just because I grew up with about 10 Matthews, so Luke seems fresher to me.

    Adele is my favorite of your girl names, simply because I think it's prettiest, and Emma would be my second choice. Also, I think Katherine could work really well as a MN for either of your other name choices- Adele Katherine is super cute!

    Love Adele for sure. I like both Luke and Matthew equally, but Matthew seems a tad more refreshing these days when there are Lukes running around everywhere! I know you said you don't care if it's popular, but your LO might when he gets into school and he's one of four Lukes in the class. That is what a delt with when I was younger so I'm a little sensitive about it! LOL. Matthew also has several nn's and abbreviations that go with it, which gives the option of evolving the name as he grows.

    I could go either way with Luke or Matthew...like them both.

    On your girl names I like Emma.

    I like Luke and Emma.  Not sure why I like Luke better than Matthew, probably because I personally don't know as many Lukes as Matthews.  I don't like Katherine because almost everyone I met in college was named Kat, Kate, Katelyn, Katie, etc.  And adele just isn't my style.
