preemie formula

Our pedi has my boys are Enfamil Enfacare. I was wondering if anyone else has used this formula? Do most pedis recommend this formula? My boys were born at 36 and 3 days. We just switched from breastmilk so this is the first few days on the formula and they seem to be doing okay.

    My girls were on the enfacare.  But they were preemies, born at 33w 4d.  It has more calories which is why they wanted them on it.  I think we switched off that formula around 7-8 mths.

    My girls were born at 35 weeks. We used Similac's version of it. It was so expensive. At 2 months my girls were gaining weight just fine so we went to the regular formula.

    This!  We had just gotten the free 2 cases of Enfacare, so we used that up and switched to Target's gentle version!

    My girls (34w2d) were given Enfacare in the NICU so that's what we stuck with.  J is still on it and the pedi switched A to regular at 6 months.

    My first set of twins were supplemented on Enfacare and it helped them with their calorie intake.  They were actually taken off after 6 months because they gained a lot of weight.  I really liked that formula, and never had issues with it.

    All of my girls' preemie formula was Neosure (NICU gave us the choice in brands), and they moved to Similac Advance around 6-9 months (all at different times). Neosure is pretty expensive, but I tried not to think about it!

    Mine are on the similac Neosure they were born at 35+3. All mine were low birth weight which is why they are 3 months and still on it not sure how long.

    If you contact Mead-Johnson and ask them about the multiple's programs, send them birth certs, they will send you two cases of the formula. I just got 12 cans of the Enfacare last week.

    We are using it to suppliment, they were born @ 36wks and were fine till their weight gain slowed WAY down (DXed Failure to Thrive).

    Mine were on Neosure by Similac.

    One was on it until 9 months.

    Other is still on it at 11 months.

    TTC #1 for over 5 years - too many to count IF treatments (tried everything and anything), repeat miscarriages. Finally, Sticky Success!! B/G Twins arrived 2011. VOTE on my Name List Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

    My girls were 34 weekers and are 10 months now and were sent home from the hospital on it.  Our NICU follow up clinic nurse was AWESOME and helped me score 30 free cans of it!  I am trying exclusively breastfeed, but can't pump enough while at work.  Thanks to her I can supplement and never have to buy formula.

    Even though it's a higher calorie formula my girls are still a tad "underweight".
