Grown up yogurt was DD's first food. She loves it. It was actually my mom's that she had mixed with granola and it was hilarious to watch DD with a piece of granola stuck to her tongue. She has had peach and banana and liked the peach more.
Yes. She loves it. We do YoBaby. It is made with whole milk and is organic. I was told Yobaby is so good there is studies done on it. It has helped elderly people with their bones and joints. I was also told that even if your baby has diarrhea and can't drink milk YoBaby is great because it cleans out their intestines.
At our 9month appt we got the ok to do yogurt. Our pedi recommended using Stonyfield Farms Whole Milk PLAIN yogurt. The flavored yobaby ones have a lot more sugar and she said that the plain is better for her. Just make sure you mix it first b/c the fat is all at the top!
Right now we do yogurt for lunch as well as cottage cheese (switch off days). We first tried Yo Baby and DD liked it. Then, I went on to buy a big plain container and just mix in my own fruit puree's.
We've been giving Charlotte yogurt for her breakfast everyday since she hit 7 months and she loves it! ? The only reason to avoid is if you have a family history of food allergy. Yogurt and cheese are fine. ?You just don't want to replace liquid milk for breastmilk or formula. ?Make sure you get whole milk yogurt. ?We use YoBaby from Stonyfield Farms. ?It's all organic too, if that matters to you.
we feed DS yogurt all the time.. I'm a bad mommy. I feed him yoplait.. We tried YoBaby... He didn't react well to it.... He likes the yoplait.. I buy the regular not low fat...
My DS loves YoBaby, too (any of the flavors, although we started with just the plain). I give it at breakfast most days. I think it's his favorite food so far!
