speaking of birthday parties, themes?

just curious to see what themes (if any) you are all planning for your lo's first birthday party. i really like the tropical fish theme!

we're going with a red wagon theme! ds has two and he absolutely loves being pulled around in them.

so we're having his party on my parent's property where there is a big field. we're inviting everyone to bring their wagons, but if they don't have one (or don't want to haul it), they can enjoy a ride on lo's Pappy's big hay wagon that he'll drive around the field a few times.

i think it will be pretty cute!

    Ours is a whale/ocean life theme. We are having it at my parents' house and they have a nice pool, so it will be fitting I think. And hopefully it will be a nice enough day to have it outside!

    That sounds like a fun party! I'm going back and forth between a ladybug theme or a daisy theme. No solid plans yet but I'm thinking just a small get together of family and close friends either at my house or the park.

    I think I've decided to go with the Very Hungry Caterpillar theme. I saw a ton of super cute ideas on pinterest and I'm pretty sure we'll go with that.

    Kaylan absolutely adores Sesame Street, so I think we'll do that for her first birthday. She absolutely loses her mind when I turn an episode on, and the elmo balloon that I picked up from the dollar tree is her most coveted toy.

    Princess themed, but not Disney. Original I know but as soon as we found out we were having a girl, DH started calling her his princess. I'm getting ideas off of Pinterest right now. I need to mail her invites in the next 2 weeks!

    Strawberries/cherries... and just fresh, colorful fruit in general.  Pinks, reds, and purples.  I think we're having an outdoor gathering at a park.  Her birthday is on a Saturday - we got lucky!
