What time is bedtime for 5 mo. old?

DS STTN for the first time last night and the only difference in his schedule that I noticed was that I put him down around 7:45 pm versus his normal 8:15 or so bedtime.

B/c DH works late, I usually can't get my 2 y/o twins plus the baby fed, bathed, and ready for bed much earlier than 8 pm. But last night I put him down first then did the bedtime routine with DDs afterwards. Made me wonder if DS needs any earlier bedtime?

What time does your LO go to bed? And does he/she STTN most nights?

My LO's bedtime is usually 7-7:30. (if she's had a bad nap day it's more like 6:30)

she normally sleeps 8-9 hours, wakes to eat, then goes back down for another 3 hours or so. (So I guess technically that's sttn) About once a week she'll sleep all the way through until 6:30 or so.

She used to go to bed around 10 and I think she really does sleep better since she moved her bedtime earlier. But that might just be because she's older and weighs more.

bedtime was 7:30 but dd is waking at 6/6:30 so i am moving bedtime to 6:30

These posts always make me so jealous.

DD goes to sleep around 10-10:30, up to eat at 1, 4, and up for the day at 7. Three naps during the day, around an hour each. She's just one of those babies who doesn't sleep a lot, so I go with the flow.

I try to get DD in the bed around 8 pm. Sometimes 8 pm winds up being almost 10 pm so that's why I start so early. Then she will sleep til about 6-7 am.

My LO goes to bed at 7...takes about 10 mins for him to sleep. Most mornings he will wake up at 730-830 ish but once a while will wake up at 630 to eat then goes back to sleep. He pretty much set his own schedule. I used to put him to bed at 830 and suddenly he started taking naps at 7 so I just get him ready for bed at that time and he just sleeps all the way thru.

DD usually goes to sleep around 9:30-10 and she sleeps anywhere from 8-14 hours. I am so jealous of everyone that can get LO to sleep early.

DS goes to bed between 6:30-7:00. He's up around 4 for a bottle, then back to sleep until 6-6:30.

I do NOT mean to tell you what to do, but just an observation... both my kids started out going to bed around 7, but would wake about 10, 1 and 4 for bottles. Eventually they dropped the 10 and 1 and then finally the 4 (although DS hasn't done this yet). Even though she's eating at 10 maybe you could still try to put DD in her crib earlier. Do the whole bedtime routine then and treat the 10 as a night time wake-up. She might surprise you by sleeping longer - good luck!

We start bedtime routine at 745 and she is asleep in bed at 810 or so. Sleeps until 630.

We are so blessed that Lily "created her own routine" and we just followed her lead. Of course in the beginning she had her days/nights mixed up... so that SUCKED!

But she usually naps when we bring her home, so about 5:15-5:45, then she eats a small 4oz bottle w/ a little cereal and then I feed her a veggie about 20mins. Later, we play for about 40 mins on a bath night, or an hour on a regular night. Then we get her ready for bed, and she falls asleep drinking her bottle. She's usually asleep around 8/8:30 and sleeps until about 7a.m.
