Has anyone used the Playtex drop in liners to pump into when bread feeding and then storing or freezing milk in them ?what was ur experience ? Any other recommendation for storing breatmilk ? Please :)thank you
I used the breast milk storage kits and pump adapter with my ameda pump and loved them. It is way easier than pumping into some other bottle or bag, and transferring.
I have one set of the adapters. I purchased on Amazon and it never shipped. Lame, so I got it at Walgreens. I saw one on clearance for $2.50ish at Target too.
I pump into the drop-ins M-Th at work. I don't store in them - just use them for the next day. It is hard to handle them after pumping so I attach a liner holder to the adapter so I can set it down.
I have a couple of storage sets that came with the adapters. I prefer pumping into bottles because you have something to grab onto and, let's be honest, lean over and prop on your knee when you're trying to do 3 other things while pumping. Plus I don't pump enough to fill one up or even make a full bottle so I would have to pour from one into the other and waste a liner. But I do love the liners and if I could pump enough I would probably pump straight into them too. It would save having to wash 2 bottles everytime. I don't store my liners upside down like they recommend either, they stand up fine right side up.
