Has anyone tried Cetaphil for their post-MC acne? I use Proactiv right now, not really doing the job for me anymore. Just wondering if anyone had success with Cetaphil before I make the change...and is it safe to use during pregnancy?
Are you talking about the face wash? If you are, I've used it before. My derm recommended it to me but it was only because it was very mild and wouldn't make my face dry when using my acne medications. I wouldn't ever try to use it alone for acne, I think you'll be disappointed.
Cetaphil doesn't have any kind of actual medication in it. It's actually probably the most gentle cleanser out there. Sometimes that's what skin needs though is a break from salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. I can't say with 100% certainty that it's safe during pregnancy, but I honestly can't see why not. Like I said, it's almost like using straight water to wash with!

I went to the Dermatologist a few weeks ago b/c nothing I was using OTC was helping with my post-m/c acne...and b/c I hope to get pregnant again soon and wanted to make sure that whatever I was using was safe for pregnancy. My doc recommended Cetaphil facewash as being safe to use during pregnancy. A similarly gentle facewash is "Purpose" and I use the mosituriser from that line as well. Most-m/c acne sucks. I hope you find something that works well for you soon!

Actually, I want to recommend something that's been working ok for me. I use this acne gel from Clinique and it's very drying, so maybe you would want to use Cetaphil in conjunction. It's supposed to be a spot treatment but I use it all over. Here's the link:
I use Cetaphil every day, even now throughout my pg.
For post m/c acne, I was using Cetaphil as my face wash, and spot treating with Neutrogena's on the spot acne treatment. It's a benzoyl peroxide, but it 2% instead of the typical 10% formala of other bp treatments. Occasionally, I still use it while pg for especially bad breakouts, but very sparingly. If you use a benzoyl peroxide, you will also want a good moisturizer, since it can dry your face out. I've also followed the regimen on acne.org with good success.
