Frequent urination already? It seems too early.

in Pregnant after IF

Hi Ladies!  Is anyone else finding themselves running to the bathroom constantly in early pregnancy?!?!  I am close to 5 wks and for the past few days have been running to the bathroom what seems like constantly.  It seems very early though to have this. Hope it's not another UTI but it really does not feel like one. Weird!

(I am not complaining, just I guess worried if this is normal so early on.)

    Yup, it's the increase in hormones.  I thought the same thing at first.  It will level out and then wait until the 3rd tri where you're constantly in the bathroom and feel like you never empty your bladder.

    I have been peeing constantly for the last two weeks, but I think it's partially because my water intake has skyrocketed. But yes, totally normal!!

    Yes, it's normal.  I think it is from the hormones in first tri, then gets a little better as the baby moves up away from your bladder, then gets bad again as the baby gets big enough to press on your bladder again.  Isn't it fun!

    Nope it's not just you!  I used to be able to sleep through the night without a bathroom break and Now I am going probably 1-2 times in the middle of the night.  One of the first symptoms I noticed.
    Trying To Conceive since November 2009
    Dx: PCOS and MFI
    IUI#1-4 all BFN
    IVF#1 January (4R, 4M, 1F) BFP
    Colt was born on 10/27 at 11:50pm. 6lbs and 19 1/4"
    Surpise! Baby #2 is on it's way.  EDD 9.18.14

    I had this at 4w and 5w...it's definitely tapered off a bit now but I'm still getting up at least once/night. I was also constantly chugging water at 4w b/c I was so thirsty so I'm sure that didn't help!

    IVF w/ICSI #1 - ER 2/8: 24R 19M 9F ET 2/13 2-5 day blasts (no frosties) = BFP - b/g twins!

    It was terrible for me in 1st tri.  It is still a lot now but not nearly as bad.  We will see what 3rd tri brings.

    If you are on progesterone, this is the culprit. I've been getting up about 3 times a night since before my positive beta!

    3/06 - m/c 1st baby at 6 weeks 
    5/06 -2nd baby had no heartbeat at 14 wks.
    D&E - Bled out. Blood transfusions. Week in ICU - Cheated Death!
    Diagnosis: Blood clotting and bleeding disorder, immune issues, & cervical stenosis
    5/10 - 1st IVF cycle - BFN
    FET - 10/12/10 - BFN
    1/11 - IVF with PGD - BFN
    IVF - May - BFN
    6/11 New RE - fingers crossed!
    9/11 - IVF - 4 transferred
    10/13 - BFP!!
    It's a boy! Clint Michael, Due in June!!!

    For me, that's how I knew I was pregnant with DD.  I was even concerned that it took till maybe 6 or so weeks before I was waking up in the middle of the night to pee with this pregnancy!

    Wait until 34 or so weeks ... 1-2 times in the middle of the night will seem like a dream.  I'm up about every 2 hours.

    Thank you ladies!!! You all help make me feel more normal...lol! Glad to see so many of you with or having had something similar! And yes, I'm on progesterone....hadn't thought of that too!

    Ugh, that sucks!! I got a pretty good break there for awhile, but not so much anymore.  His favorite spot to rest is on my bladder. :(

    I'm up at one and five every night! 
    TTC in 2009, Dx: Unexplained IF
    Three TI cycles (BFP...miscarriage), five IUI attempts and 2.5 IVF cycles later...BFP!!
    12dp5dt: 765; 15dp5dt: 1979; 17dp5dt: 3379...TWINS!!!!!
    Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!

    Oh yes I started this when I first found out! I have still going a lot and at night about 2-3 times. It's a pain, but so welcomed :)
