Thinking ahead - There are several girl names I have fallen in love with lately and curious what you all think and which sound best with dds Scarlet and Tess
In spite of DS name Jack(son) -picked long before the Boom!- for girls I like less popular names but not too creative or unique- also don't like names ending in -lee sound
Matilda nn Tilly
Wren
Alice
Marion
Maeve
Willa TIA!
Re: Girls names to go with
I love Alica and Maeve.
Wren is a guilty pleasure name of mine. I really love it.
Marion and Willa I like just fine.
Not a fan of Matilda or especially Tilly as a NN.
great choices overall!
Matilda, Wren, Alice, and Willa are all on my list (as are Scarlett and Tessa), so obviously I like them! I'm not a huge fan of Maeve, and Marion is just okay to me. Since we seem to have similar styles, here are a few of my other favorites:
Adah
Antonia
Beatrix
Camilla
Carys
Claudia
Cora
Elodie
Elsie
Esther
Felicity
Georgianna nn Georgie
Hazel
Imogen
Isla
Ivy
Junia
Margo
Millie
Olive
Penelope nn Penny
Phillipa nn Pippa
Ramona nn Romy
Valerie
Thank you we really do have similar taste- I love so many of those names too but have ruled out for close associations, sound wrong with ln etc. Olive, Margo, Hazel Camilla are all so beautiful..
I'm a big fan of them all (except Willa---much prefer Willow).
I love Matilda for the NN Tilly, but Marion is my favorite on your list. By far, the least likely to get trendy/popular.
