Cutest moment ever

I was letting Saoirse sit on the edge of the couch and I was sitting on the floor in front of her holding her up (she likes to be higher than me). She started playing with my hair, so I closed my eyes and pursed my lips because it was hurting when she accidentally pulled a little. All of a sudden I felt something wet on my mouth, which I assumed was her spit-filled hand as usual since she loves grabbing my mouth. When I opened my eyes she had her face in front of mine with her lips pursed too. She had given me a kiss! How frickin' cute is that?

I have been teaching her to give kisses lately because she has this cat toy and bunny lovey that she usually just smashes her face into their faces and then ends up biting them. So I say to her "kisses" and make a kissing noise at her. I give the toys a kiss to show her and she thinks it is hysterical. She has been trying to purse her lips, but usually ends up folding them in, and then smiles. She tries to immitate the kissing noise too, but ends up clicking her tongue.

I just can't believe she put 2 and 2 together when she saw me purse my lips to actually give me a kiss. I wish I had seen it coming, it was so funny. She was really sleepy at the time so she was hugging me every 30 seconds, so I guess she just decided I needed a kiss too. I am astounded by the way her mind works, kids are so funny.

That is adorable!

I am trying to teach Georgia to give kisses, but we are a long ways off. She just kind of leans towards me, but hasn't figured out the whole lips part.
