Will she go back to normal? Say YES!

My sweet Haddie girl has STTN since she was 4 weeks old, she has always been THE best sleeper. Well, since she has been sick, not.so.much. and I am TOTALLY okay with that, I have been cuddling her all night long and loving doing it (well, maybe love is a strong word, but I certainly haven't minded it). But, now that I have been rocking her to sleep when she used to just go down drowsy and now that she is waking up 4-5 times per night and needing to be rocked... think this is the new her? Or you think once she is feeling better and less congested she'll go back to her super sleeping ways?!?

    You might have to work at getting her to STTN again. Once she is feeling better, I would try to soothe her without picking her up from the crib (patting, shushing, rubbing). It might take some time, but she should go back to STTN again. GL and I hope she is back to her normal self soon!

    I think it will probably take her a few nights to adjust again after she gets better, but I think she'll be back to her old self in no time! When Lena was having some crazy teething problems, she was up constantly, we were having to rock her, the same thing. And the same thing happened when she got sick after her 6 month shots. But she did end up going back to her old ways pretty soon after. We've been dealing with a cold too (certainly not as bad as poor Hadley!) and she is up a lot again, but I am hoping she'll be back to her old self when this cold passes too.

    I'm not the right person to answer this, but I think once she feels better I'm sure she;ll start going back to STTN

    I think once she feels better she will go back to her norm. I agree with PP don't pick her up immediately. Try to soothe her in her crib- that worked for me this past time (I had a sick baby too. ) and she went right back down.
