Stinging/pinching feeling on cervix

Hey y'all! So I am 36 weeks 3 days, had a cerclage removed last friday, and dilated to 2 cm right away, and ever since then I have had these sharp stinging sudden pains on my cervix...it lasts for a second or two each time and then it's gone. Has anyone else experienced this and/or know what it is? I figure it's just the baby pushing on my cervix but didn't know if it meant something?? TIA!!!

    I never had it with DD but have it multiple times a day this go around... literally stops me in my tracks.  Not very attractive when I'm walking in public and I cringe and have to stop... people probably think I'm crazy.
