Marinas abdominal ultrasound came back normal! Eeeek! Now we just have to wait for her MRI at the end of march. She couldn't nurse for 3.5 hours before this test and she was miserable. With the MRI she can't nurse or eat anything for 8 hours! This is going to suck! She's going to have to be put to sleep because she is out of the "eat and swaddle" age

( double suck!

hey i must have missed this, what's going on? well i guess you're trying to figure that out. stupid question. just mean i didn't know something was wrong.
poor little thing, you'd think they'd have a better way of doing things.
anyway, hope everything turns out perfectly. thinking of you and your LO.
Yay!! Glad to see you and Marina are doing good. How's things with the BD if I may ask.
ETA: 8 hours!!!! Holy cow I hope they do the MRI fast. Jonathan would be a mess. Lot's of t&p.
I remember you talking about that before.
Glad to see things are looking ok. Does she seem to be developing on track so far?
It is so hard watching your LO be sedated. Tim had to go under when he was a newborn.
Poor little Marina!
Oh a side note - it's good to see you Katie!
T&Ps! Glad the first test went well!
Hi!
Sorry Marina's stork bite is causing some concerns. I hope it ends up being at the surface only, and that sedation goes without issue. That's a tough thing for a Mama.

Poor thing! KT MRIs are really easy on babies, just hard on mamas. I was freaking the eff out during C's but she slept through it. Did they tell you why she couldnt eat? I fed her right before, but it was an emergency MRI so that may be the difference.
Glad to hear, other than the MRI, her health is good.
I think she has some stiff competition with Mason. I LOVE those pictures!!! I used to post here aaalllll the time but stuck to the singles board for a little while with just commenting here. My situation is actually fairly similar to yours.
/ and it is good to have another single mama here even though I wish we didn't have to be!
They didn't give me specifics but Im assuming it has something to do with the sedation and needing an empty stomach incase she has a reaction and vomits or something. Thats my "discovery health channel" type of guess. She said they are very strict so even if I sneak sips of water or something they won't take her.
