Riding a bike w an infant

So I have a dumb question.

Do they make anything for riding a bike with an infant? We have a trailer thing but that is for 1+ years. Not thinking its too safe to wear an infant in Bjorn thing... But DS is going to be so sad not to go for bike rides because lil sis can't go.

Does he have a bike or a wagon? You can always wear the LO while you pull him or he rides.

Doesn't sound safe to me.. I don't think they have bike helmets for infants. No helmet, no ride. That's the rule in my house at least.

MIL did get him a trike/bike thing for his birthday... Guess its time he can ride it and I can wear dd or walk with her in stroller.

I'm just not 100% sure he's tall enough yet, hasn't sat on it in a few months.

The smallest they make a helmet for is 1 year and up, because it's not recommended, either bike mounted or trailer, until that age. Our trailer has that warning. It's not a new warning either, we bought our first bike trailer in '98 and it said the same thing.

We have a bike trailer and we used it with DD last spring and summer. She just went on her first ride of the season today in it. She loves it, and we got her fitted for a helmet at a bike store last month. They make helmets for toddlers, but not younger.

I don't know what type of bike you have, but we had the FP Rock Roll & Ride trike. It could be used pretty young.
