I can't remember either, but I don't have it, and I really hope I don't. I have four and a half weeks left and it hasn't shown up! Yay!
I don't care really if I get it. I had it with #1 and it went away before my c/s was doing healing. I just feel like every morning I'm waiting for that stupid line and a ton of strech marks to greet me.
I should add: If you do have it when did you get it?
I don't remember. For awhile, I wasn't sure if it was the linea nigra or just a shadow of my happy trail (which I shave). Then H pointed it out, so I knew it was something new. That was at least a month ago, I think.
Unfortunately, I have had that (faintly) since about the time I started showing. I didn't say anything to my DH at first, b/c I kept thinking it was too faint for even him to notice, but eventually I said something and he had definitely already noticed it but was smart enough not to comment! Ha! Here's hoping you don't get it!
I'll be 32 weeks on Fri and I don't have it yet...but I think I can maaaaaybe see it starting to come in? My belly button is just now starting to look a little different too.
It's really not that bad. lol. None of the physical changes that I thought would be a big deal really have been, including the stretchmarks on my boob. It's just like "oh, I have stretchmarks now." Plus, the linea nigra is only temporary.
This post is cracking me up. I have the deepest belly button and couldn't see anywhere near the bottom before. Now, with twins, it has been slowly shallowing. For whatever reason, it is all of the sudden darker skin. But, I don't have the linea negra line. Just today ny DH joked that I should have it, but it all ended up in my belly button cuz it's so deep. I assume it would be darker for the same reason someone would have the line, but that is just a guess. Pregnancy is bizarre.
I've had it for quite awhile. It doesn't really bother me since I know it will go away after the pregnancy. Mine is pretty dark, as I have olive skin. It's totally weird, because mine comes up in the normal line, and then makes an entire circle around my belly button. So funny looking!

Weird. I've always had mine. Or, probably at least since puberty. Maybe it's because I have a darker complexion? I also have three keloid (raised) scars around my belly button from chicken pox when I was 11.
I went to the gyn when I was 18 or 19 and she'd asked me if I'd had it done (the line and scarring). I'm guessing she thought it was some type of body modification, as I had several facial piercings at the time, too. I told her no, the line has been there for as long as I can remember and the scars were from chicken pox. She said, "Oh! Well, it's all so symmetrical!" lol
Re: do you have that line on your tummy yet?
LOL. Gold Star for you!
ETA: I don't know why I always want to call it ambrosia...

This for me too! Don't have it yet, but the belly button is looking kind of goofy...

Waiting on our second little peanut!
I got mine a few weeks ago...its very light and you have to look for it.
My bellybutton on the other hand....is non-existent.
As DH said when I exclaimed "omg, look at my bellybutton"...
"What bellybutton?"
Yerp. Its flat.
