I vote no. I keep one trash can and a basket with both size diapers in the nursery even though DS doesn't sleep there. I don't think 2 tables would be necessary but may be more convenient during nap time or at night.
I often use the couch or the floor as a changing table too.

With two I wish I had a changing table in the main living area (or at least out of the bedrooms). My kids share a room and when one is sleeping I'm left with nowhere to change the other one. I don't actually want another changing table but I need to set up a changing station somewhere outside the bedroom. Problem is, I love the set up in the bedroom and just can't figure out how to replicate it elsewhere.
I stopped using the changing table when I only had one LO. I think it's inconvenient to change on the changing table with 2 LOs that need to be changed a lot. I found it easier to change them in whatever room I was in at the time on a changing pd.
We've always just used the top of her dresser (with the changing pad) DD will be 23mo when DS arrives. We'll just change her if necessary on her bed in her room. DS can have the changing pad.
DS was 21 months also when DS2 was born. We only had 1 changing table in the babies room and honestly we hardly even used the 1.
Really? I use the changing table all the time. But will that change when ds gets older ?
Wondering this exact same thing, as DS1 will be ~20-21 months old when DS2 gets here. I still use the changing table a lot, too, but have no idea what to predict on how/when that changes!
We will not. I barely used it now other than for storage of our CDs. I mostly change DS on the floor these days. DH still uses the table for most changes, but we would never need two because our house is small, one story, and the kids will share a room.
Re: Do I need two changing tables?
That's actually a great idea
Maybe I'll move the table to my bedroom

p.s.--And nice due date! We're July 20, too. My oldest will be 16 months in a week!
Wow !! DS1 was October 30 & DD will be a scheduled c if all goes as planned !!
Are you nervous ? I know I am..The reality is just setting in, and keep thinking how the hell am I going to do this !!??

More Green For Less Green
OMG, yes!!!!! I feel like the more planning and preparing I do, the more nervous I get. I'm going to be a hot mess by the time the baby gets here.
