with J we really just wanted a happy healthy babe. of course we still want that, but i'm REALLY hoping for a girl this time

mostly b.c then we're done, but also b.c i have always pictured our child as a little strawberry blonde with green eyes.

I'm not KU but I really wanted a girl with DD because I wanted at least one DD and we aren't sure if we are one and done. If we decide to have another I don't care. A boy would be really fun and neat for DH but another little girl would be awesome for DD to have a sister and maybe the next girl would look something like me :-) (DD is DH's mini me!)

However, if I'd had a boy first I would be wanting a girl for sure with #2. (Though obviously a healthy baby is #1)

Last time I really wanted a girl and that's what I got, so now it doesn't really matter to me. It would be great to have one of each, but since these two are so close together I think it'd be fun if it is another girl.

We're not sure yet if we want to be done after 2 or not. I think I can safely say we'll be done after 3 for sure though!

I definitely had a preference. Bad as it sounds, I'd have been disappointed if this new little seed was a girl because I've always had dreams of one of each, and MH and I aggree we are "two and through" and it'll be great to have one of each. Oh, I DID want a little redheaded girl, though. That didn't happen. She looks like the spitting image of my husband, so I'm holding out hope for a little red-faced, redheaded boy this time!

I kind of want another girl just because they are so close in age I think it would be fun for them as sisters (or miserable for me when they are teenagers, haha). Plus, I never had a sister growing up (2 brothers) and I really wish I did. However, if we do have a boy I will be thrilled since we are 99.9% sure this is our last and it would be nice to have 1 of each.

If we have a boy, we are done. If we have a girl, we'll keep trying.... I'd love a boy and our little family, but I kind of want Sophie to have a little sister (not sure why, I don't get along with mine). But the thought of 3 kids isn't what I had pictured, so I'd say we really want a boy this time. We'll see

I want a girl so we can have our family of 4 and be done. If we are blessed with another boy, we will probably still keep trying. I told DH I just want one daughter. Even if it takes 6 kids (although I hope not because I have rough pregnancies).

Not KU, but I completely had a preference with DD. I wanted a girl soooo badly that I wouldn't even think about girl names, wouldn't look at girl clothing, wouldn't pick out girl bedding, etc. I was convincing everyone else around me that I knew it was a boy and that we had already picked out his name.

When the ultrasound tech said "It looks like a girl!" I burst into tears. She started to panic and said, "Oh no! Did you want a boy?" I started sobbing and said, "No! I wanted a girl SO badly!" Haha.

I think that I will want a boy next, though. However, I'd love to have another girl! I have a sister and it's amazing.

Not KU, but when we do get pg with #2 deep down I'll be hoping for a girl. I always imagined my family to be a boy, then a girl so if we have a 3rd (DH wants 4, me 2) then whatever will be perfect!

not KU - but when we start trying in august for #2 - we'll be doing everything possible for a baby girl! We want to be 2 and through - and as bad as this sounds i can't imagine loving a second little boy as much as i love C ~ he'll always be my special little guy. Plus i want the perfect pair! - I've already chinese gender charted it - and we can conceive in august / Sept or Oct for a girl this year!!! LOL

I totally will not stop until I have another girl. Ok that was a lie. I will stop at 5 even if I have 4 boys. I will just adopt a girl. I did not have a preference with Jack, MH just had his heart set on having a boy first so it mattered to him. This time he is still holding out hope for twin girls, even though we have only heard one heart beat.

Trying to not lean one way or the other, but if I'm totally honest I want a girl. I haven't yet convinced DH to go for 3 kids, and I need a girl for at least one baby! I love my boy, but I definitely want one of each.

this is our plan if we have a 2nd boy. we had talked about adopting anyway. we'll just wait a few years to start the process.
